Their UK office operates from premises in Tredegar, in South Wales with a turnover of c£36 million, they are very profitable with a strong balance sheet and employs over 200 people.</p> <p>Their key focus is to provide contract manufacturing and product development services to the food supplement industry and further to that has ambitious plans for future growth: EuroCaps is currently embarking on a significant expansion project, with plans to double capacity over the next five years and introduce industry exclusive products to further strengthen their competitive position.</p> <p><strong>Job Description</strong></p> <p><strong>The role</strong></p> <p>Reporting to the Deputy Managing Director, the Head of Sales will be office based with elements of travel in the UK and in Europe. They will have management responsibility for a sales budget approaching £40 million with significant increase forecasted year on year. They will also be a member of the Senior Management Team.</p> <p>Driving an already successful sales team the objective of the Head of Sales will be to provide man management, identify the team's needs and set the pace in sales by developing new business within the existing key accounts.</p> <p><strong>Main Responsibilities</strong></p> <ul> <li>Lead, focus, empower and enthuse the business development and account management team to ensure targets are met and exceeded</li> <li>Implement company strategy, through effective leadership and direction of the Business Development and Account Management Team</li> <li>Securing profitable business opportunities, delivering strong growth in line with short and long term business forecasts and providing service standards to consistently exceed customer expectations</li> <li>Proactively identify and track business development opportunities and projects to ensure those with the greatest potential have the most focus</li> <li>Manage pricing strategies, to maintain company profitability, including challenging other departments to improve efficiency and cost base to maintain competitiveness</li> <li>Responsible for negotiation and agreement of all key contracts and price arrangements</li> <li>Responsible for developing and focusing Sales, Account Management, Customer Service teams and other stakeholders and Departments within EuroCaps, to provide excellent customer service and deliver added value to customer base</li> </ul> <p>The Head of Sales will manage a small number of Key Accounts personally, leading all commercial aspects of these accounts, including:</p> <ul> <li>Leading pricing strategy</li> <li>Managing sales and orders, through close liaison with internal customer service team</li> <li>Achieving strong budgetary targets</li> <li>Fielding and maximising product enquiries</li> <li>Generating sales growth through new and existing product development in particular managing product transfer of new business into EuroCaps.</li> <li>Work closely with customers to develop and launch new products and have a proactive approach in this area in proposing new ideas to customers</li> <li>Identify opportunities of cross over with DCC Health and Beauty sister companies also promoting their products and services</li> <li>Project manage the new product launches with key internal stake holders including quality control, development, operations and supply chain.</li> </ul> <p><strong>The Successful Applicant</strong></p> <p><strong>The Candidate</strong></p> <p>The successful candidate will be motivated by success, be driven and determined, with the desire to make a difference. Requirements include</p> <ul> <li>Proven background with sales leadership responsibility</li> <li>A proven background in Account Management / Business Development</li> <li>Educated to a degree level or equivalent ideally with a science bias</li> <li>Managed sales budgets in excess of £10 million</li> <li>Managed and developed accounts with a value in excess of £1 million</li> <li>Ideally have a background within the nutritional supplement, food or pharmaceutical industries. Their UK office operates from premises in Tredegar, in South Wales with a turnover of c£36 million, they are very profitable with a strong balance sheet and employs over 200 people.</p>\r\n\r\n<p>Their key focus is to provide contract manufacturing and product development services to the food supplement industry and further to that has ambitious plans for future growth: EuroCaps is currently embarking on a significant expansion project, with plans to double capacity over the next five years and introduce industry exclusive products to further strengthen their competitive position.</p>\r\n\r\n<p><strong>Job Description</strong></p>\r\n\r\n<p><strong>The role</strong></p>\r\n\r\n<p>Reporting to the Deputy Managing Director, the Head of Sales will be office based with elements of travel in the UK and in Europe. They will have management responsibility for a sales budget approaching £40 million with significant increase forecasted year on year. Requirements include</p>\r\n\r\n<ul>\r\n\t<li>Proven background with sales leadership responsibility</li>\r\n\t<li>A proven background in Account Management / Business Development</li>\r\n\t<li>Educated to a degree level or equivalent ideally with a science bias</li>\r\n\t<li>Managed sales budgets in excess of £10 million</li>\r\n\t<li>Managed and developed accounts with a value in excess of £1 million</li>\r\n\t<li>Ideally have a background within the nutritional supplement, food or pharmaceutical industries.
