Electrification finance and leasing options were assessed to reduce some of the perceived financial risks associated with vehicle electrification, encouraging logistics companies and smaller fleets to consider participating in the pilot program. The EC assessed top locations for the pilot program, coordinated an infrastructure deployment plan, conducted risk analyses. Finally, project work teams were created for infrastructure development, vehicle procurement, stakeholder coordination, communications, and policy support.
