Το Κοινοβούλιο αποφασίζει για θέματα που αγγίζουν την καθημερινότητα όλων μα&sigmaf;, όπω&sigmaf; είναι η προστασία του περιβάλλοντο&sigmaf;, οι ίσε&sigmaf; ευκαιρίε&sigmaf;, η ασφάλεια, τα ανθρώπινα δικαιώματα, η μετανάστευση και για αυτό η ενημέρωση των πολιτών για τι&sigmaf; εργασίε&sigmaf; του σώματο&sigmaf; αποτελεί προτεραιότητά μα&sigmaf;.<br /> <br /> Κάθε πολίτη&sigmaf; που χρειάζεται πληροφόρηση για το Κοινοβούλιο ή θέλει να  έλθει σε επαφή με του&sigmaf; ευρωβουλευτέ&sigmaf; και τι&sigmaf; διοικητικέ&sigmaf; υπηρεσίε&sigmaf; του μπορεί να απευθυνθεί στο Γραφείο μα&sigmaf;.<br /> <br /> Το Γραφείο του Ευρωπαϊκού Κοινοβουλίου στην Ελλάδα αποτελεί τον επικοινωνιακό και διοικητικό σύνδεσμο του Ευρωπαϊκού Κοινοβουλίου με τι&sigmaf; ελληνικέ&sigmaf; αρχέ&sigmaf; και ιδίω&sigmaf; με τη Βουλή των Ελλήνων. Είμαστε σε επαφή με τα σχολεία και τα πανεπιστήμια, την τοπική Αυτοδιοίκηση, με ενώσει&sigmaf; Πολιτών, Συλλόγου&sigmaf;, με ΜΚΟ,  και γενικότερα με την Κοινωνία των Πολιτών. Επιπλέον, κάθε πολίτη&sigmaf; μπορεί να αναζητήσει απαντήσει&sigmaf; στα ερωτήματα του, να διατυπώσει τι&sigmaf; ερωτήσει&sigmaf; του στου&sigmaf; συναδέλφου&sigmaf; τη&sigmaf; Υπηρεσία&sigmaf; Πληροφόρηση&sigmaf; του Πολίτη και να προμηθευτεί τόσο έντυπο όσο και ηλεκτρονικό πληροφοριακό υλικό. Μπορεί επίση&sigmaf;, και αυτό είναι σημαντικό, να υποβάλλει αναφορά προ&sigmaf; το Ε.Κ. όταν θεωρεί ότι θίγονται τα συμφέροντα ή τα δικαιώματα του, να διατυπώσει αιτήματα ή και να προτρέψει τα θεσμικά όργανα τη&sigmaf; Ε.Ε. να ασχοληθούν με θέματα που κατά τη γνώμη του είναι σημαντικά.<br /> <br /> Το Ευρωπαϊκό Κοινοβούλιο έχει δημιουργηθεί από και για του&sigmaf; πολίτε&sigmaf; του.
