Working directly with populations in exile, whether from a research or practice perspective, the authors looked at issues such as the valorization of informal skills acquired via nomadic tools or automatic translation devices, the role of digital technology in the appropriation of writing by people unfamiliar with&nbsp;it, and the way in which these field practices can enrich language teaching
