This is going to be a detailed story, so take your time to read it until the end.</p><p id="bd81" class="pw-post-body-paragraph nh ni gy nj b nk nl nm nn no np nq nr ns nt nu nv nw nx ny nz oa ob oc od oe gn bk">I had vacated my PG after 6 months since it didn’t provide me with basic amenities for the given amount. I didn’t receive any receipts too. I had taken this decision so that I could stay at my friend’s place. So I packed my luggage and started to his house for staying thereafter. I took an auto and reached the place in 10 quick mins only to be stopped by the security guard.</p><p id="fac6" class="pw-post-body-paragraph nh ni gy nj b nk nl nm nn no np nq nr ns nt nu nv nw nx ny nz oa ob oc od oe gn bk">The guard didn’t permit me inside the place and said that my name isn’t in the rental agreement and that I am not supposed to enter the building. I tried calling the manager to find that he was ruder than the security. He compared me with terrorists/thugs. So arguing with him was like arguing with the wall. To my dismay, I couldn’t find another place to stay as I had already vacated the PG. I went to the nearby real estate dealer and asked for a 2BHK sooner. He showed me a place in MHADA colony. At that point in time, I was sure to rent out that place even though it wasn’t in a good condition. I just walked into the office and started working. But I couldn’t concentrate on my work as there were many conversations between me and Manoj which involved links of good properties around our location. I had called many numbers the previous night even though it was 11 pm.</p><p id="7210" class="pw-post-body-paragraph nh ni gy nj b nk nl nm nn no np nq nr ns nt nu nv nw nx ny nz oa ob oc od oe gn bk">Finally, I got a call from one of the numbers and introduced himself as Sachin. I remembered him because I had seen an amazing house for bachelors for a good budget in housing.com. I asked him whether the place was vacant and he told to come down to Bhandup and see some places. I left with Manoj and started to Bhandup and saw some places that the broker’s sister took us to. We found most of the places good as we wanted to move in quicker.</p><p id="c104" class="pw-post-body-paragraph nh ni gy nj b nk nl nm nn no np nq nr ns nt nu nv nw nx ny nz oa ob oc od oe gn bk">But 4 out of 5 weren’t ready for possession. We had to forcefully rule them out and were left with just one choice which was unfurnished, but had 1.5 lacs deposit and 28k rent. He showed us the kitchen and as soon as I saw the stove with two gas cylinders, I started imaging myself cooking in that place. A fridge to keep the daily leftovers and snacks, a complete modular kitchen it was. There were two bedrooms wherein one had an attached bathroom with geysers and a separate drying area with a washing machine.</p><p id="60ce" class="pw-post-body-paragraph nh ni gy nj b nk nl nm nn no np nq nr ns nt nu nv nw nx ny nz oa ob oc od oe gn bk">This was a complete package, ready to possess flat which I had in my mind. We thought that the owner would ask for 40–45k. To our surprise, he gave us a good offer which we couldn’t deny. We both were equally excited, but we didn’t want to show it in front of them.
