<p><strong>Gustav Klimt</strong> siempre fue un tío multicultural, un artista <em>woke</em> que bebió del arte occidental y del oriental, de lo antiguo y lo moderno. <strong>Klimt</strong> chupó de <a href="https://historia-arte.com/artistas/alberto-durero"><strong>Durero</strong></a> y de los dorados bizantinos, de los motivos de las alfombras persas y las estampas japonesas, de <strong>Freud</strong> y los mosaicos de Rávena o los iconos rusos. Del arte del Antiguo Egipto y el de los expresionistas que ya rondaban por Viena. Del arte y la artesanía.</p> <p>Obras como esta reflejan esta <strong>mezcla de culturas</strong> —que como todas las mezclas, incluso la l<em>ejía y el amoniaco,</em> siempre es interesante— donde representa a <strong>una mujer embarazada</strong> que está en actitud orante, como rezando por su hijo. Tres mujeres más se unen a esa oración a los pies de la futura madre.</p> <p>Y es que ronda por ahí una calavera, símbolo que asociamos irremediablemente al peligro. <strong>Quizás Klimt representa los riesgos del embarazo y el parto,</strong> con esa mujer en un fondo de pan de oro (es oro de verdad!), con vestidos de múltiples texturas y colores que se mezclan, se arremolinan y se revuelven como hormonas enloquecidas.</p> <p>Una vez más en la obra de <strong>Klimt, el nacimiento y la muerte cohabitan de forma natural, bella y armoniosa.</strong></p> <footer class="section
