Like other countries, the construction industry significantly\ncontributes to the economy, society and technology of Malaysia, yet,\ninnovation is still considered slow compared to other industries such\nas manufacturing. Given the important role of an architect as the key\nplayer and the contributor of new ideas in the construction industry,\nthere is a call to identify the issue and improve the current situation\nby focusing on the architectural firms. In addition, the existing\nstudies tend to focus only on a few dimensions of organizational\nculture and very few studies consider whether innovation is being\ngenerated or adopted. Hence, the present research tends to fill in the\ngap by identifying the organizational cultures that foster or hinder\ninnovation generation and\/or innovation adoption, and propose a\nmodel of organizational culture and innovation generation and\/or\nadoption.","references":"[1] Gann, D. and A.
