No one sees your credit card information besides Amazon, not even us.</p> <h3>Email</h3> <p>We want to communicate with you only if you want to hear from us.</p> <p>We will send you email relating to your personal transactions. We will keep these emails to a minimum.</p> <p>You will also receive certain email notifications (forwarded messages, etc.), for which you may opt-out.</p> <p>We may send you service-related announcements on rare occasions when it is necessary to do so.</p> <p>Project creators receive the email addresses of their backers if, and only if, the project is successfully funded.</p> <h3>Technology / Security</h3> <p>Kickstarter uses <em>cookies</em> to help (anonymously) recognize you as a repeat visitor and to track traffic patterns on our site. We use this information to make Kickstarter more user-friendly.</p> <p>Kickstarter may obtain IP <em>addresses</em> from users. Abuse is defined as using personal information for any purpose other than those explicitly specified in the Project Creator’s Project, or is not related to fulfilling delivery of a product or service explicitly specified in the Project Creator’s Project.</p> <p>Kickstarter Project Creators never receive users' credit card information.</p> <h3>Wrap-up</h3> <p>Kickstarter reserves the right to update this privacy policy at anytime.
