In this new role, she has the opportunity to focus on the association community worldwide. He has been the Head of Risk and Insurance for Genting Singapore and Cathay Pacific Airways and held the post of Managing Director or equivalent in five companies in four countries. With experience in twenty countries in Asia as well as the EU, Africa and USA Steve brings a broad based, practical approach to the management of both risk and opportunities. For the 2013-2014 term he was part of the IVSA Global Exco Team, as Secretary to the Member Organizations Director. He was responsible for internal communication and for communication with local member organizations at 88 universities in over 50 countries.</p> <p style="text-align:left;">The main projects he worked on during this term were developing a database of global veterinary internship opportunities, motivating and recruiting the local chapters via social media and a monthly newsletter, and managing the international individual and group exchanges between member organizations. Together with the IVSA members around the world, Henry worked to realize projects for World Rabies Day, World Veterinary Day and One Health.</p> <p style="text-align:left;">Henry is a junior student of veterinary medicine, now in his clinical year at National Pingtung University of Science and Technology. He enjoys visiting friends and animals throughout the world, football, and oil painting. He has experiences in project managing; development of atmospheric dispersion and radiological dose assessment system, emergency preparedness system. At present, he is managing a project for making a radiation environmental report for Jordan Research and Training Reactor.</p> </div> </div>  <div style="display:none;"> <div id="sim"> <img style="float:left; margin-right:30px; margin-bottom:30px;" src="/sites/uia.org/files/img/roundtable/Sim_photo.jpg" /> <p style="font-size: 1.4em; text-align:left;">Jack Sim</p> <p style="text-align:left;">Founder and Director of the <a href="http://worldtoilet.org/" target="_blank">World Toilet Association</a></p> <p style="text-align:left;">Widely known as Mr. Toilet, Jack broke the global taboo of toilet and sanitation by bringing the agenda to global media centre-stage with his unique mix of humour and serious facts since 2001.</p> <p style="text-align:left;">Born in poverty in 1957, Jack had first hand experience of growing from the 3rd world to 1st world journey of Singapore through the market economy instead of relying on charity. He started business at age 24 founding 16 businesses ranging from building materials trading, manufacturing, franchising, real estate developments and the Australian International School in Singapore. After attaining financial independence at age of 40 as a businessman, he decided to quit the rat-race to devote the rest of his life to social work:</p> <ul style="text-align:left;"> <li>1998, founded the Restroom Association of Singapore (RAS).</li> <li>2001, founded World Toilet Organization (WTO) as a global network and service platform for toilet associations to promote sound sanitation and public health policies.</li> <li>Created the World Toilet Summit series which has been hosted in Singapore 2001, Seoul 2002, Taipei 2002, Beijing 2004, Belfast 2005, Moscow2006, New Delhi2007, Macau 2008, Singapore 2009, Philadelphia2010, Hainan 2011, and in Durban 2012 and Solo, Indonesia 2013.</li> <li>Also World Toilet Forums Shanghai 2005 and Bangkok 2006.</li> <li>WTO declared its founding day 19 November in 2001 as World Toilet day.</li> <li>2004, awarded the inaugural Singapore Green Plan Award by Singapore's National Environment Agency for contribution to Environment.</li> <li>2005, founded the World Toilet College</li> <li>2005, successfully lobbied and changed the Singapore’s Building Codes to have more cubicles in ladies restrooms.
