The study was done by research and analysis for\ndesigner-s consideration factors that affect function and production.\nTherefore, the study result indicates that such factors are design\nprocess (planning for design, product specifications, concept design,\nproduct architecture, industrial design, production), design evaluation\nas well as wooden furniture design dependent factors i.e. art (art\nstyle; furniture history, form), functionality (the strength and\ndurability, area place, using), material (appropriate to function, wood\nmechanical properties), joints, cost, safety, and social responsibility.\nSpecifically, all aforementioned factors affect good design. Resulting\nfrom direct experience gained through user-s usage, the designer\nmust design the wooden furniture systemically and effectively. As a\nresult, this study selected dinning armchair as a case study with all\ninvolving factors and all design process stated in this study.","references":"[1] Karl T. Ulrich and Steven D.
