والفلسطينيين امس الاثنين اتفاقا ‘تاريخيا’ لربط البحر الاحمر مع البحر الميت المتقلص، بحسب ما اعلن وزير اسرائيلي.<br/>وقال وزير الطاقة والتطوير الاقليمي سيلفان شالوم لاذاعة الجيش الاسرائيلي انه بموجب الاتفاقية التي ستوقع في البنك الدولي في واشنطن فإنه سيتم سحب المياه من خليج العقبة شمال البحر الاحمر.<br/>وستتم تحلية بعض هذه المياه وتوزيعها على اسرائيل والاردن والفلسطينيين، بينما سيتم نقل الباقي عبر اربعة انابيب الى البحر الميت الذي قد تجف مياهه بحلول عام 2050.<br/>وبحسب شالوم فإن الاتفاق فيه جوانب اقتصادية تتمثل بتزويد الدول المجاورة بمياه محلاة رخيصة وناحية بيئية تهدف الى ‘انقاذ البحر الميت’ وايضا جانب ‘استراتيجي- دبلوماسي’ حيث سيتم توقيعه في الوقت الذي تنهار فيه مفاوضات السلام بين اسرائيل والفلسطينيين.<br/>واضاف ‘هذا اختراق بعد سنوات عديدة’ مؤكدا ‘هذا لا يقل عن خطوة تاريخية’.<br/>وذكرت صحيفة ‘يديعوت احرونوت’ الاسرائيلية ان رئيس سلطة المياه الفلسطينية شداد العتيلي بالاضافة الى وزير المياه الاردني حازم الناصر سيقومان بتوقيع الاتفاقية مع شالوم.<br/>واكد شالوم انه بعد توقيع الاتفاق ‘سيتم طرح عطاء دولي لمجمل المشروع بدءا ببناء محطة تحلية المياه في العقبة و تركيب اول انبوب من الانابيب الاربعة ‘.<br/>وبحسب الصحيفة فإن الفكرة تعود الى عام 1994 عندما تم توقيع اتفاق سلام بين الاردن واسرائيل.<br/>ونشر البنك الدولي في عام 2012 تقرير دراسة جدوى عن الموضوع.<br/>ولكن منظمة اصدقاء الارض في الشرق الاوسط ومنظمات بيئية اخرى حذرت بان تدفق مياه البحر الاحمر بشكل كبير قد
