Boone Pickens Foundation</a>. The $9.4 million gift is designated for the purpose of accelerating and sustaining AAPG’s Geographic Information Systems (GIS) publishing program for the geosciences community through the AAPGF-OSU Geoscience GIS Consortium. </p> <p>This cooperative effort between the AAPG Foundation and Oklahoma State University’s Geology and Geography departments not only creates new GIS projects but also provides OSU students with invaluable experience.
