authorised by the Singapore Customs to issue, endorse and certify ordinary Certificate of Origin (CO) for locally manufactured or processed goods, and goods from other countries which are re-exported from Singapore. All the certificates issued by the SCCCI are internationally accepted. SCCCI also offers services for other trade documents, including Attestation of Commercial Invoice and Declaration. SCCCI has been providing professional trade documentation services for many years and all applications for the issuance, endorsement and certification of CO and/or trade documents will be dealt by authorised SCCCI Staff in strict confidence. SCCCI looks forward to continually providing you with excellent service. TYPES OF SERVICES Certificate of Origin Certificate of Origin (CO), known as non-preferential CO, is a trade document that can be used to attest the origin of goods and may be requested by Customs Administrations, Importers, Freight Forwarders or Banks for clearance of Letters of Credit. With the Singapore Government’s strong commitment in building a global innovation hub and SCCCI’s commitment to drive the digitalisation of trade, SCCCI would be implementing blockchain-based eCO that offers higher security, flexibility and productivity in processing your trade-related documents. Traders may submit their applications manually or electronically. For electronic CO (eCO), traders can submit via the SCCCI online portal (<a href="http://www.certoforigin.com">www.certoforigin.com</a>) at their own premises which helps to save on time, logistics and moreover greatly improve on efficiency. With effect from 1 July 2019, all eCO applications will be leveraging on the blockchain-based platform, Open Trade Blockchain (OTB), that drives efficiency and provides real-review review. With OTB, traders can check the authenticity of their COs by the unique QR code or the URL provided.
