One of the officers involved said he did nothing wrong.</p> <p>Duthie, who was <strong>temporarily paralyzed </strong>from the incident and ended up in a hospital for a month, talks about the encounter and the lasting impact it's had on her physically and mentally. They are not making<br/> up stories about certain San Francisco<br/> police officers using unnecessary force.<br/> The names of the victims and the police officers are not fictitious. Sward and Wallace do not say that a SOURCE told them about these incidents. They have interviewed the victims. They have obtained information from the files of the SFPD. You can't send the Up with People troupe out to fight violent crime. People want to enjoy the benefits of effective policing but are not willing to accept that the means to this end often entails things that are "negative." Inner city police have to be tough to beeffctive. that is just a fact.
