밝혔다. 그는 스페이스X 창립 23주년인 이날 소셜미디어 X 게시물에서 "스타십이 내년 말에 옵티머스를 태우고 화성으로 출발한다. 만약 이 때 착륙이 잘 된다면, 유인 착륙이 이르면 2029년에도 시작될 수 있다. 다만 2031년일 가능성이 더 크다"고 말했다. 옵티머스는 머스크가 CEO를 맡고 있는 전기자동차업체 테슬라가 개발한 인간형 로봇으로, 작년에 공개됐다.
