In this study, content analysis was employed to examine the nature of green advertising appeals and to match the appeals with the green advertisements. Two different types of green print advertisings, product orientation and organizational image orientation were used. Thirty highly educated participants with different backgrounds were asked individually to ascertain three appeals out of thirty-four given appeals found among forty real green advertisements. To analyze participant responses and to group them based on common appeals, two-step K-mean clustering is used. The clustering solution indicates that eye-catching graphics and imaginative appeals are highly notable in both types of green ads. Depressed, meaningful and sad appeals are found to be highly used in organizational image orientation ads, whereas, corporate image, informative and natural appeals are found to be essential for product orientation ads. <p class="card-text"><strong>Keywords:</strong> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=advertising%20appeals" title="advertising appeals">advertising appeals</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=green%20marketing" title=" green marketing"> green marketing</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=green%20%0D%0Aadvertisement" title=" green advertisement"> green advertisement</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=printed%20advertisement" title=" printed advertisement"> printed advertisement</a> </p> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/13023/the-use-of-appeals-in-green-printed-advertisements-a-case-of-product-orientation-and-organizational-image-orientation-ads" class="btn btn-primary btn-sm">Procedia</a> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/13023.pdf" target="_blank" class="btn btn-primary btn-sm">PDF</a> <span class="bg-info text-light px-1 py-1 float-right rounded"> Downloads <span class="badge badge-light">284</span> </span> </div> </div> <div class="card paper-listing mb-3 mt-3"> <h5 class="card-header" style="font-size:.9rem"><span class="badge badge-info">4182</span> Authentic Leadership, Task Performance, and Organizational Citizenship Behavior</h5> <div class="card-body"> <p class="card-text"><strong>Authors:</strong> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=C.%20V.%20Chen">C. Authentic leadership is confirmed to promote employees’ positive affect, psychological empowerment, well-being, and performance. Employees’ spontaneous undertaking of organizationally desired behaviors allows organizations’ gaining the edge in the fiercely competitive business environment. Apart from the contextual factor of leadership, individuals’ goal orientation is found to be highly related to his/her performance. To better understand the psychological process and potential moderation of personal goal orientation, this study investigates the effect of authentic leadership on employees’ task performance and organizational citizenship behavior by including psychological empowerment as the mediating factor and goal orientation as the moderating factor. <p class="card-text"><strong>Keywords:</strong> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=authentic%20leadership" title="authentic leadership">authentic leadership</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=task%20performance" title=" task performance"> task performance</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=organizational%20citizenship%20behavior" title=" organizational citizenship behavior"> organizational citizenship behavior</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=goal%20orientation" title=" goal orientation"> goal orientation</a> </p> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/31685/authentic-leadership-task-performance-and-organizational-citizenship-behavior" class="btn btn-primary btn-sm">Procedia</a> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/31685.pdf" target="_blank" class="btn btn-primary btn-sm">PDF</a> <span class="bg-info text-light px-1 py-1 float-right rounded"> Downloads <span class="badge badge-light">796</span> </span> </div> </div> <div class="card paper-listing mb-3 mt-3"> <h5 class="card-header" style="font-size:.9rem"><span class="badge badge-info">4181</span> Examining the Relationship Between Green Procurement Practices and Firm’s Performance in Ghana</h5> <div class="card-body"> <p class="card-text"><strong>Authors:</strong> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=Alexander%20Otchere%20Fianko">Alexander Otchere Fianko</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=Clement%20Yeboah"> Clement Yeboah</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=Evans%20Oteng"> Evans Oteng</a> </p> <p class="card-text"><strong>Abstract:</strong></p> Prior research concludes that Green Procurement Practices positively drive Organisational Performance. Nonetheless, the nexus and conditions under which Green Procurement Practices contribute to a Firm’s Performance are less understood. The purpose of this quantitative relational study was to examine the relationship between Green Procurement Practices and 500 Firms’ Performances in Ghana. The researchers further seek to draw insights from the resource-based view to conceptualize Green Procurement Practices and Environmental Commitment as resource capabilities to enhance Firm Performance. The researchers used insights from the contingent resource-based view to examine Green Leadership Orientation conditions under which Green Procurement Practices contribute to Firm Performance through Environmental Commitment Capabilities. The study’s conceptual framework was tested on primary data from some firms in the Ghanaian market. PROCESS Macro was used to test the study’s hypotheses. Beyond that, Environmental Commitment Capabilities mediated the association between Green Procurement Practices and the Firm’s Performance. The study further seeks to find out whether Green Leadership Orientation positively moderates the indirect relationship between Green Procurement Practices and Firm Performance through Environmental Commitment Capabilities. While conventional wisdom suggests that improved Green Procurement Practices help improve a Firm’s Performance, this study tested this presumed relationship between Green Procurement Practices and Firm Performance and provides theoretical arguments and empirical evidence to justify how Environmental Commitment Capabilities uniquely and in synergy with Green Leadership Orientation transform this relationship. The study results indicated a positive correlation between Green Procurement Practices and Firm Performance. This result suggests that firms that prioritize environmental sustainability and demonstrate a strong commitment to environmentally responsible practices tend to experience better overall performance. This includes financial gains, operational efficiency, enhanced reputation, and improved relationships with stakeholders. The study's findings inform policy formulation in Ghana related to environmental regulations, incentives, and support mechanisms. Policymakers can use the insights to design policies that encourage and reward firms for their Green Procurement Practices, thereby fostering a more sustainable and environmentally responsible business environment. The findings from such research can influence the design and development of educational programs in Ghana, specifically in fields related to sustainability, environmental management, and corporate social responsibility (CSR). Institutions may consider integrating environmental and sustainability topics into their business and management courses to create awareness and promote responsible practices among future business professionals. Also, the study results can also promote the adoption of environmental accounting practices in Ghana. By recognizing and measuring the environmental impacts and costs associated with business activities, firms can better understand the financial implications of their Green Procurement Practices and develop strategies for improved performance. <p class="card-text"><strong>Keywords:</strong> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=environmental%20commitment" title="environmental commitment">environmental commitment</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=firm%E2%80%99s%20performance" title=" firm’s performance"> firm’s performance</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=green%20procurement%20practice" title=" green procurement practice"> green procurement practice</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=green%20leadership%20orientation" title=" green leadership orientation"> green leadership orientation</a> </p> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/167241/examining-the-relationship-between-green-procurement-practices-and-firms-performance-in-ghana" class="btn btn-primary btn-sm">Procedia</a> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/167241.pdf" target="_blank" class="btn btn-primary btn-sm">PDF</a> <span class="bg-info text-light px-1 py-1 float-right rounded"> Downloads <span class="badge badge-light">86</span> </span> </div> </div> <div class="card paper-listing mb-3 mt-3"> <h5 class="card-header" style="font-size:.9rem"><span class="badge badge-info">4180</span> Impact of Marketing Orientation on Environment and Firm’s Performance</h5> <div class="card-body"> <p class="card-text"><strong>Authors:</strong> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=Sabita%20Mahapatra">Sabita Mahapatra</a> </p> <p class="card-text"><strong>Abstract:</strong></p> ‘Going green’ has been an emerging issue worldwide driving companies to continuously enhance their green capabilities and implement innovative green practices to protect the environment and improve business performance. In the changing time of the 21st century, the creative leadership of school leaders is increasingly important in cultivating the professional learning communities of teachers for eventually improving student performance in every continent. This study examines under what conditions and how principal creative leadership contributes to teachers’ professional learning and school culture. Data collected from 632 teachers in 30 primary and middle schools in the cities of Chengdu and Chongqing in mainland China are analyzed using structural equation modeling and bootstrapping tests. A moderated mediation model of principle creative leadership effects is used to analyze professional teacher learning and school culture in which the mediator will be school culture and the moderator will be power distance orientation. The results indicate that principal creative leadership has significant direct and indirect effects on teachers' professional learning. A positive correlation between principal creative leadership, professional teacher learning, and school culture is observed. Further model testing found that teacher power distance orientation moderated the significant effect of principal creative leadership on school culture. When teachers perceived higher power distance in teacher-principal relations, the effects of principal creative leadership were stronger than for those who perceived low power distance. The results indicate the “culture change” in the young generation of teachers in China, and further implications to understanding the cultural context in the field of educational leadership are discussed. <p class="card-text"><strong>Keywords:</strong> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=power%20distance%20orientation" title="power distance orientation">power distance orientation</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=principal%20creative%20leadership" title=" principal creative leadership"> principal creative leadership</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=school%20culture" title=" school culture"> school culture</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=teacher%20professional%20learning" title=" teacher professional learning"> teacher professional learning</a> </p> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/149131/principal-creative-leadership-for-teacher-learning-and-school-culture" class="btn btn-primary btn-sm">Procedia</a> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/149131.pdf" target="_blank" class="btn btn-primary btn-sm">PDF</a> <span class="bg-info text-light px-1 py-1 float-right rounded"> Downloads <span class="badge badge-light">147</span> </span> </div> </div> <div class="card paper-listing mb-3 mt-3"> <h5 class="card-header" style="font-size:.9rem"><span class="badge badge-info">4178</span> Examining the Relationship Between Green Procurement Practices and Firm’s Performance in Ghana</h5> <div class="card-body"> <p class="card-text"><strong>Authors:</strong> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=Clement%20Yeboah">Clement Yeboah</a> </p> <p class="card-text"><strong>Abstract:</strong></p> Prior research concludes that environmental commitment positively drives organisational performance. The purpose of the study was to evaluate the effects of green labor management on the global economy, environmental and economic performance, and the organisation's environmental dignity. We strongly evaluate the different roles of the various processes of green personnel management (i.e., green recruitment, training, and engagement green, as well as green performance management and reward) in organizational operations. We are also investigating the leadership role of CEO Ethical. Our outcome will have a positive impact on the performance of the organization. Green Human Resource Management contributes to the evolution of a roundabout economy without the influence of different external factors such as market demand and commitment. Finally, the results of our research will provide a few aspects for future research, both academic and human. <p class="card-text"><strong>Keywords:</strong> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=sustainability" title="sustainability">sustainability</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=green%20human%20resource%20management" title=" green human resource management"> green human resource management</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=circular%20economy" title=" circular economy"> circular economy</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=human%20capital" title=" human capital"> human capital</a> </p> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/148161/green-human-recourse-environment-performance-circular-performance-environment-reputation-and-economics-performance-the-moderating-role-of-ceo-ethical-leadership" class="btn btn-primary btn-sm">Procedia</a> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/148161.pdf" target="_blank" class="btn btn-primary btn-sm">PDF</a> <span class="bg-info text-light px-1 py-1 float-right rounded"> Downloads <span class="badge badge-light">95</span> </span> </div> </div> <div class="card paper-listing mb-3 mt-3"> <h5 class="card-header" style="font-size:.9rem"><span class="badge badge-info">4175</span> Nurturing Green Creativity in Women Intrapreneurs through Green HRM: Testing Moderated Mediation Model: A Step Towards Saudi Vision 2030</h5> <div class="card-body"> <p class="card-text"><strong>Authors:</strong> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=Tahira%20Iram">Tahira Iram</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=Ahmad%20Raza%20Bilal"> Ahmad Raza Bilal</a> </p> <p class="card-text"><strong>Abstract:</strong></p> In 2016, the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (KSA) initiated Saudi Vision 2030, an ambitious plan to lessen the country's dependency on fossil fuels and increase economic diversification. The Vision 2030 framework strives to establish a thriving economy, a vibrant society, and an ambitious nation. This study aims to investigate the role of green service innovation (SI) and green work engagement (WE) in mediating the nexus between green HRM and green creativity (GC) under the conditional role of spiritual leadership (SL). A survey was done of 300 female intrepreneurs working in the organization within Saudi Arabia. This study has collected data via a stratified random sampling technique. The framework was tested using PLS-SEM software. The findings reveal that WE fully intervenes in the nexus between green HRM and GC. Moreover, SL positively moderates the nexus between green HRM and SI. Thus based on findings, it is recommended that female intrapreneurs prioritize environmentally responsible operations to gain and sustain a competitive edge over rivals in the Saudi competitive market. <p class="card-text"><strong>Keywords:</strong> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=green%20HRM" title="green HRM">green HRM</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=spiritual%20leadership" title=" spiritual leadership"> spiritual leadership</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=Vision%202030" title=" Vision 2030"> Vision 2030</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=women%20intrapreneurs" title=" women intrapreneurs"> women intrapreneurs</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=green%20service%20innovation%20behavior" title=" green service innovation behavior"> green service innovation behavior</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=green%20creativity" title=" green creativity"> green creativity</a> </p> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/168648/nurturing-green-creativity-in-women-intrapreneurs-through-green-hrm-testing-moderated-mediation-model-a-step-towards-saudi-vision-2030" class="btn btn-primary btn-sm">Procedia</a> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/168648.pdf" target="_blank" class="btn btn-primary btn-sm">PDF</a> <span class="bg-info text-light px-1 py-1 float-right rounded"> Downloads <span class="badge badge-light">85</span> </span> </div> </div> <div class="card paper-listing mb-3 mt-3"> <h5 class="card-header" style="font-size:.9rem"><span class="badge badge-info">4174</span> The Effects of Three Leadership Styles on Individual Performance</h5> <div class="card-body"> <p class="card-text"><strong>Authors:</strong> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=Leilei%20Liang">Leilei Liang</a> </p> <p class="card-text"><strong>Abstract:</strong></p> Leadership is commonly classified as formal leadership and informal leadership, which ignores and neglects the effects of 3rd type leadership. The existing leadership characteristic of instruction and control revealed its limitations. Market competition becomes fierce and economic recession never ends worldwide. Of the leadership theories, servant leadership was introduced recently and is in line with the environmental changes of the organization. Servant leadership is a combination of two words, 'servant' and 'leader' and can be defined as the role of the leader who focuses on doing voluntary work for others with altruistic ethics, makes members, customers, and local communities a priority, and makes a commitment to satisfying their needs. This leadership received attention as one field of leadership in the late 1990s and secured its legitimacy. This study discusses the existing research trends of leadership, the concept, behavior characteristics, and lower dimensions of servant leadership, compares servant leadership with the existing leadership researches and diagnoses if servant leadership is a useful concept for further leadership researches. Finally, this study criticizes the limitations in the existing researches on servant leadership. <p class="card-text"><strong>Keywords:</strong> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=leadership%20philosophy" title="leadership philosophy">leadership philosophy</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=leadership%20theory" title=" leadership theory"> leadership theory</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=servant%20leadership" title=" servant leadership"> servant leadership</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=traditional%20leadership" title=" traditional leadership"> traditional leadership</a> </p> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/7738/a-literature-review-of-servant-leadership-and-criticism-of-advanced-research" class="btn btn-primary btn-sm">Procedia</a> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/7738.pdf" target="_blank" class="btn btn-primary btn-sm">PDF</a> <span class="bg-info text-light px-1 py-1 float-right rounded"> Downloads <span class="badge badge-light">369</span> </span> </div> </div> <div class="card paper-listing mb-3 mt-3"> <h5 class="card-header" style="font-size:.9rem"><span class="badge badge-info">4172</span> Philosophical Foundations of Leadership: Maimonides, Spinoza, and Green Leaf Through the Popperian Lens</h5> <div class="card-body"> <p class="card-text"><strong>Authors:</strong> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=Liron%20Hoch">Liron Hoch</a> </p> <p class="card-text"><strong>Abstract:</strong></p> This study investigates three distinct leadership paradigms—Maimonides's flexible leadership (MFL), Spinoza's affective leadership (SAL), and Greenleaf's servant leadership (SL)—within the philosophical framework of Karl Popper. The study will identify leadership perception of sustainable leadership practices, key perceptions based on behaviours, attributes, and skills if they differ across the hospitality sector in Nigeria, and how the identified perception compares to those found in previous research. Also, it explores the leadership competencies most valued in the Nigerian hospitality industry. Furthermore, assesses the benefits and risks of sustainability practices in the Nigerian hospitality industry; this will raise awareness for long-term sustainable practices through integrating renewable energy systems, reducing water and energy consumption, minimizing waste, and promoting an eco-conscious environment for both guests and employees. This will address challenges faced by all levels of management on sustainability practices, and how the influence of these practices will help the organisation to achieve its stated goals and remain competitive. Lastly, the study will propose a multi-level perception competence model (PCM) that contributes to the understanding of sustainable leadership. This competencies model will integrate knowledge, skills, and attitudes of sustainable leadership paradigms to establish a proposed multi-level model that will cut across top, middle, and lower management within the hospitality industry in Nigeria. Competencies in sustainability comprise knowledge, skills, and attitudes that facilitate effective task execution concerning real-world sustainability issues and opportunities. This model would facilitate sustainable leadership policies and strategies that are adaptable, collaborative, and centered on sustainability practices, prioritizing skills, and long-term sustainability objectives. Therefore, the specific objectives are; To examine the perception of sustainable leadership within the Hospitality industry. To identify the sustainable leadership competencies that are effective in the Hospitality industry. To investigate top, middle, and lower management's key challenges in adopting sustainable leadership. To develop a multi-level competencies-based model that contributes to the understanding of sustainable leadership Hospitality industry. <p class="card-text"><strong>Keywords:</strong> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=sustainable%20leadership" title="sustainable leadership">sustainable leadership</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=green%20human%20resource%20mnagement" title=" green human resource mnagement"> green human resource mnagement</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=leadership" title=" leadership"> leadership</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=hospitality" title=" hospitality"> hospitality</a> </p> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/197019/sustainable-leadership-and-green-human-resource-management-in-the-nigerian-hospitality-industry" class="btn btn-primary btn-sm">Procedia</a> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/197019.pdf" target="_blank" class="btn btn-primary btn-sm">PDF</a> <span class="bg-info text-light px-1 py-1 float-right rounded"> Downloads <span class="badge badge-light">15</span> </span> </div> </div> <div class="card paper-listing mb-3 mt-3"> <h5 class="card-header" style="font-size:.9rem"><span class="badge badge-info">4170</span> Servant Leadership for Elder Care in St. Camillus Health Systems, USA</h5> <div class="card-body"> <p class="card-text"><strong>Authors:</strong> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=Anthoni%20Jeorge">Anthoni Jeorge</a> </p> <p class="card-text"><strong>Abstract:</strong></p> Throughout the history of the world, servant leadership has been researched, and favourable results such as individual, team, and organizational have been linked to the construct. This research paper designates St. Camillus de Lellis, a practitioner of servant leadership and founder of the Ministers of the Sick as a servant leader in his approach to care for the sick. Service is the visible face of his servant leadership. First of all, despite many challenges, St. Camillus de Lellis practiced leadership by the example of compassionate service to the sick. Second, he made service to the sick the highest priority of his life. Third, Camillus displayed servant leadership such that his manner of leadership gave birth to a New School of Service to the Sick. The paper identifies the distinctive dimensions and essential elements which characterized his service-centered leadership. Furthermore, discuss the six major characteristics of a servant leader as set forth by St. Camillus’s life example. The research illustrates the transformational power of servant leadership infield healthcare in general and, in doing so, provides servant leadership seekers ways servant leadership can transform elder care in one’s own field (St. Camillus Health Systems). Thus, it ascertains that servant leadership is best-fit for humanized elder care. Supported by the review of literature, the paper ascertains that Camillus, by identifying himself with the sick, gained deeper insights concerning the pain and suffering of the population. Uniquely drawn from his true grit, Camillus’ service-centered leadership is value-based, people-oriented, and compassion-filled. His way of service to the sick is the prolongation of gestures of mercy and compassion. It is hoped that the results of this study will help health care workers and servant leadership practitioners to humanize elder care and cultivate servant leadership attitude in their health care services to the sick. By incorporating such service-oriented elements into their leadership orientation, health care workers will be true servant leaders of the sick. <p class="card-text"><strong>Keywords:</strong> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=leadership" title="leadership">leadership</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=service" title=" service"> service</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=healthcare" title=" healthcare"> healthcare</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=compassion" title=" compassion"> compassion</a> </p> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/144108/servant-leadership-for-elder-care-in-st-camillus-health-systems-usa" class="btn btn-primary btn-sm">Procedia</a> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/144108.pdf" target="_blank" class="btn btn-primary btn-sm">PDF</a> <span class="bg-info text-light px-1 py-1 float-right rounded"> Downloads <span class="badge badge-light">170</span> </span> </div> </div> <div class="card paper-listing mb-3 mt-3"> <h5 class="card-header" style="font-size:.9rem"><span class="badge badge-info">4169</span> The Impact of Transformational Leadership on Individual Attributes</h5> <div class="card-body"> <p class="card-text"><strong>Authors:</strong> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=Bilal%20Liaqat">Bilal Liaqat</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=Muhammad%20Umar"> Muhammad Umar</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=Zara%20Bashir"> Zara Bashir</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=Hassan%20Rafique"> Hassan Rafique</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=Mohsin%20Abbasi"> Mohsin Abbasi</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=Zarak%20Khan"> Zarak Khan</a> </p> <p class="card-text"><strong>Abstract:</strong></p> Transformational leadership is one of the most studied topics in the organization sciences. Therefore, understanding leadership and finding styles that deliver improvements in leadership enable leaders to enhance their skills, which will significantly contribute to having an improved performance of the organization. There has been ample research on various theories of leadership. Leadership is meaningless unless it has people who are the followers. Furthermore, while people constitute many nations, studies have demonstrated that the majority of the population of the world adheres to some type of religion. Therefore, the study of the leadership of founders of religions is of interest. In this context, the term ‘Divine Leadership’ is created. Subsequently, historical texts and literature were reviewed to ascertain if this leadership could be defined in an academic context. Furthermore, evaluation of any leadership is an essential process in assessing the value that it may bring to society or organizations. Therefore, it was necessary to define characteristics that could be assigned to such leadership. The research led to the development of a leadership theory, where, due to the scope, only five dimensions were assigned. The study has continued to develop a theoretical model in line with quantitative research on the effectiveness of this leadership in enhancing the performance of organizations. <p class="card-text"><strong>Keywords:</strong> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=leadership%20theory" title="leadership theory">leadership theory</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=management" title=" management"> management</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=motivation" title=" motivation"> motivation</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=organizations" title=" organizations"> organizations</a> </p> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/182134/divine-leadership-developing-a-leadership-theory-and-defining-the-characteristics-of-this-leadership" class="btn btn-primary btn-sm">Procedia</a> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/182134.pdf" target="_blank" class="btn btn-primary btn-sm">PDF</a> <span class="bg-info text-light px-1 py-1 float-right rounded"> Downloads <span class="badge badge-light">69</span> </span> </div> </div> <div class="card paper-listing mb-3 mt-3"> <h5 class="card-header" style="font-size:.9rem"><span class="badge badge-info">4166</span> Service Orientation, Employee Service Skills and Employee Performance of Travel Agency in Surabaya</h5> <div class="card-body"> <p class="card-text"><strong>Authors:</strong> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=Hatane%20Semuel">Hatane Semuel</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=Foedjiawati"> Foedjiawati</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=Michelle%20Sunur"> Michelle Sunur</a> </p> <p class="card-text"><strong>Abstract:</strong></p> This study took the research object of fifteen legal travel agencies in Surabaya. We believe that emerging economies like Kazakhstan can pursue a cleaner and more efficient development path by introducing an environmental tax system based on resource consumption rather than only income and labor. The key issues discussed in this article are the eco-efficiency, which refers to closing the gap between economic and ecological efficiencies, and the structural change of the economy toward green growth. We also strongly believe that studying the experience of East Asian countries on green reform including eco-innovation and green solutions in business is essential to the case of Kazakhstan. All of these will raise the status of Kazakhstan to the level of one of the thirty developed countries over the next decades. <p class="card-text"><strong>Keywords:</strong> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=economic%20strategy" title="economic strategy">economic strategy</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=green%20growth" title=" green growth"> green growth</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=green%20solutions" title=" green solutions"> green solutions</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=natural%20resource%20management" title=" natural resource management"> natural resource management</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=environmental%20tax%20system" title=" environmental tax system"> environmental tax system</a> </p> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/3169/green-growth-in-kazakhstan-political-leadership-business-strategies-and-environmental-fiscal-reform-for-competitive-system-change" class="btn btn-primary btn-sm">Procedia</a> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/3169.pdf" target="_blank" class="btn btn-primary btn-sm">PDF</a> <span class="bg-info text-light px-1 py-1 float-right rounded"> Downloads <span class="badge badge-light">283</span> </span> </div> </div> <div class="card paper-listing mb-3 mt-3"> <h5 class="card-header" style="font-size:.9rem"><span class="badge badge-info">4160</span> The Leadership Reset: The Hidden Power of Wellness in Leadership Success</h5> <div class="card-body"> <p class="card-text"><strong>Authors:</strong> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=Rashmi%20Tiwari">Rashmi Tiwari</a> </p> <p class="card-text"><strong>Abstract:</strong></p> Leadership extends beyond strategy and decision-making—it encompasses the well-being of the individual in the role. Many leaders exhaust themselves, sacrificing their health in pursuit of success. Research indicates that stronger influence, better decision-making, and lasting impact are achieved not by doing more but by adopting different leadership practices. This paper introduces "The Leadership Reset," a transformative approach that positions health and wellness as critical components of leadership success. Using real-world examples and sociological insights, the study examines how prioritizing self-worth and well-being reshapes leadership styles, strengthens resilience, and cultivates high-performing, empowered teams. The challenges faced by burnt-out leaders and strategies to disrupt the cycle are explored alongside the scientific correlation between wellness and its impact on leadership influence. Furthermore, the research provides a practical framework for redefining leadership through holistic well-being. In the modern, fast-paced environment, effective leaders do not merely survive—they thrive. This paper uncovers the pivotal role of wellness in leadership success and provides actionable insights to reset, recharge, and lead with greater impact. <p class="card-text"><strong>Keywords:</strong> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=leadership%20development" title="leadership development">leadership development</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=wellness%20and%20leadership" title=" wellness and leadership"> wellness and leadership</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=self-worth%20in%20leadership" title=" self-worth in leadership"> self-worth in leadership</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=sociology%20of%20leadership" title=" sociology of leadership"> sociology of leadership</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=holistic%20leadership%20strategies" title=" holistic leadership strategies"> holistic leadership strategies</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=emotional%20intelligence" title=" emotional intelligence"> emotional intelligence</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=resilient%20leadership" title=" resilient leadership"> resilient leadership</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=workplace%20well-being" title=" workplace well-being"> workplace well-being</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=leadership%20influence" title=" leadership influence"> leadership influence</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=personal%20growth%20in%20leadership" title=" personal growth in leadership"> personal growth in leadership</a> </p> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/198901/the-leadership-reset-the-hidden-power-of-wellness-in-leadership-success" class="btn btn-primary btn-sm">Procedia</a> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/198901.pdf" target="_blank" class="btn btn-primary btn-sm">PDF</a> <span class="bg-info text-light px-1 py-1 float-right rounded"> Downloads <span class="badge badge-light">2</span> </span> </div> </div> <div class="card paper-listing mb-3 mt-3"> <h5 class="card-header" style="font-size:.9rem"><span class="badge badge-info">4159</span> Factors Affecting Ethical Leadership and Employee Affective Organizational Commitment: An Empirical Study</h5> <div class="card-body"> <p class="card-text"><strong>Authors:</strong> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=Sharmin%20Shahid">Sharmin Shahid</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=Zaher%20Zain"> Zaher Zain</a> </p> <p class="card-text"><strong>Abstract:</strong></p> The purpose of this study is to explore and examines the theoretical frameworks of ethical leadership style and affective organizational commitment. Since that time there has been ample research on various theories and styles of leadership while the definition of leadership is still undergoing development. In this context, ‘Divine Leadership’ has been defined. Another aspect of organizational success has been deemed to be follower motivation. Consequently, the research's objective was to assess this leadership's impact by evaluating the relationship with follower motivation. This entailed proposing a theoretical model to depict several hypotheses. Subsequently, the research performed a quantitative study of the relationship of Divine Leadership with Follower Motivation. The findings yielded a conclusion indicating a high reliability of 95% for the data collected through the field survey. Moreover, Divine Leadership exhibited a statistically significant positive association with Follower Motivation.
