Evento riservato a espositori e operatori, Macfrut Talk è realizzato da <strong>Macfrut Academy</strong> insieme a <strong>Crédit Agricole Italia, </strong>business partner della manifestazione fieristica.</p><p style="text-align:justify;">“<i>Investire nelle biotecnologie per aumentare la sostenibilità e la competitività delle produzioni ortofrutticole</i>”, questo il titolo del primo Talk, che avrà quale relatore <strong>Bruno Mezzetti</strong>, tra i massimi esperti mondiali nella materia, professore all’Università Politecnica delle Marche, e coordinatore del Biotechnology Symposium a Macfrut 2025 (6-8 maggio) insieme a Silvia Sabbadini.</p><p style="text-align:justify;">I cambiamenti climatici così come l’affacciarsi di nuovi patogeni rendono sempre più centrale aumentare la conoscenza sulle possibili applicazioni degli strumenti biotecnologici in ortofrutticoltura. Per garantire la sostenibilità delle produzioni c'è bisogno di nuove cultivar più resilienti, adatte a sistemi di coltivazione basati sull'uso di input ridotti (in particolar modo pesticidi e acqua), e con una migliore qualità per i consumatori. L’insieme di queste tecnologie sta avendo nel mondo un forte impatto socioeconomico, per migliorare la sostenibilità, qualità e biosicurezza delle produzioni agricole. Nel nostro paese è fondamentale aumentare le conoscenze sulle diverse biotecnologie disponibili e sul possibile loro impatto nelle diverse fasi della filiera produttiva, favorendone così l'uso nelle aziende del settore ortofrutticolo e aumentando l'accettazione da parte del pubblico.
