href="/proverbs/11-2.htm"><b>2</b></a></span>When pride<MH2087> comes<MH935>, then comes<MH935> dishonor<MH7036>; <t><p class="indent1">But with the humble<MH6794a> there is wisdom<MH2451>. <poetry><p class="indent1"><span class="reftext"><a href="/proverbs/11-3.htm"><b>3</b></a></span>The integrity<MH8538> of the upright<MH3477> will guide<MH5148> them, <t><p class="indent1">But the perversity<MH5558> of the treacherous<MH898> will destroy<MH7703> them. <poetry><p class="indent1"><span class="reftext"><a href="/proverbs/11-4.htm"><b>4</b></a></span>Riches<MH1952> do not benefit<MH3276> on the day<MH3117> of wrath<MH5678>, <t><p class="indent1">But righteousness<MH6666> rescues<MH5337> from death<MH4194>. <poetry><p class="indent1"><span class="reftext"><a href="/proverbs/11-5.htm"><b>5</b></a></span>The righteousness<MH6666> of the blameless<MH8549> will smooth<MH3474> his way<MH1870>, <t><p class="indent1">But the wicked<MH7563> will fall<MH5307> by
