ہوسٹن میں قونصلیٹ آفس نے گزشتہ ماہ ڈاکٹر عافیہ سے ملاقات کی تھی۔ </p> <p>ڈاکٹر فوزیہ نے مزید کہا کہ ’ایک وقت ایسا لگا کہ جیسے وہ کسی بھی لمحہ پاکستان واپس آجائیں گی اور حکومت نے متعدد مرتبہ اطمینان دلایا کہ امریکی حکام سے عافیہ کی واپسی سے متعلق مذاکرات جاری ہیں‘۔ </p> <p>ان کا کہنا تھا کہ ’ایسی خبریں تھی کہ (رواں برس) جنوری یا مارچ میں عافیہ واپس آجائیں گی لیکن اب مکمل خاموشی ہے‘۔ </p> <p>ڈاکٹر فوزیہ نے بتایا کہ ’میری عافیہ سے فون پر بات ہوئی تھی اور انہوں نے کہا تھا کہ وہ جیل سے نکلنے کے لیے کسی بھی نوعیت کے دستاویزات پر دستخط کرنے کو تیار ہیں‘۔ </p> <p><strong>یہ بھی پڑھیں: <a فوزیہ نے وزیر خارجہ شاہ محمود قریشی سے مذکورہ معاملے کو امریکا کے ساتھ زیر بحث لانے کی درخواست کی تھی۔ </p> <p>جس پر وزیر خارجہ نے یقین دلایا تھا کہ ڈاکٹر عافیہ کی واپس کا مسئلہ ’زیر غور‘ ہے۔ </p> <p>بعدازاں ہیوسٹن میں قونصل جنرل عائشہ فاروقی نے ڈاکٹرعافیہ سے ملاقات کی اور امریکا پر زور دیا تھا کہ وہ ’زیر حراست عافیہ کے انسانی اور قانونی حقوق کا خیال رکھے‘۔ </p> <p>دفتر خارجہ کے ترجمان نے اپنے انٹرویو میں کہا کہ ’آسیہ بی بی پاکستان میں ہیں، جلد بیرون ملک روانہ ہو سکتی ہیں‘۔ </p> <h3 id="5cbf52e9785f2">عافیہ صدیقی کی کہانی</h3> <p>پاکستانی شہری عافیہ صدیقی کی کہانی 'دہشت گردی کے خلاف جنگ' سے جڑی کہانیوں میں سب سے اہم ہے، جو مارچ 2003 میں اُس وقت شروع ہوئی جب القاعدہ کے نمبر تین اور نائن الیون حملوں کے مبینہ ماسٹر مائنڈ خالد شیخ محمد کو کراچی سے گرفتار کیا گیا۔</p> <p>خالد شیخ محمد کی گرفتاری کے بعد مبینہ طور پر 2003 میں ہی عافیہ صدیقی اپنے تین بچوں کے ہمراہ کراچی سے لاپتہ ہوگئیں۔</p> <p>عافیہ صدیقی کو لاپتہ ہونے کے 5 سال بعد امریکا کی جانب سے 2008 میں افغان صوبے غزنی سے گرفتار حملہ</a></strong></p> <p>امریکی عدالتی دستاویزات میں دعویٰ کیا گیا تھا کہ 'عافیہ صدیقی کے پاس سے 2 کلو سوڈیم سائینائیڈ، کیمیائی ہتھیاروں کی دستاویزات اور دیگر چیزیں برآمد ہوئی تھیں، جن سے عندیہ ملتا تھا کہ وہ امریکی فوجیوں پر حملوں کی منصوبہ بندی کررہی ہیں'۔</p> <p>جب عافیہ صدیقی سے امریکی فوجی اور ایف بی آئی عہدیداران نے سوالات کیے تو انہوں نے مبینہ طور پر ایک رائفل اٹھا کر ان پر فائرنگ کر دی، جوابی فائرنگ میں وہ زخمی ہوگئیں، جس کے بعد انہیں امریکا منتقل کر دیا گیا جہاں 2010 میں انہیں اقدام قتل کا مجرم قرار دے کر 86 سال قید کی سزا سنائی گئی تھی۔</p> </div> </div>  </div> </div>  <div
