That’s not me. Southern California appealed to me.” So Campbell accepted Cupini’s challenge. “Kim didn’t talk much about what USD had done,” said Campbell. “She talked about what they are aiming to do. She was electric. When I got to San Diego, I saw USD was just really getting started. Compared to other programs I had seen, this was very small.
