Most recently, he completed several projects that utilized cancer data to describe racial/ethnic, socioeconomic, and geographic disparities in cancer incidence, treatment, and survival. This work employed various multi-level models and clustering techniques and involved the development of a new method to impute missing geocodes (geographical-imputation) to avoid geographic selection bias. He is presently collaborating on research funded by Susan G. Komen, which examines how geographic barriers to care impact breast cancer stage and treatment options.
