Marvel Comics shook up its super-hero universe on The View Tuesday and announced that Thor will become unworthy to wield the hammer Mjölnir and a woman will pick it up. This new Thor will somehow be saved by the Thunder god who will lose his ability to hold the hammer. Through some comic-book storytelling that hasn't exactly been made clear yet, she will be called Thor when the new series launches in October. In an attempt to raise awareness about the importance of swim basics in saving lives, instructors at the Plunge taught children and adults for the requisite half an hour in how to breathe properly, how to immerse yourself and turn to float on your back when tired, as well as proper kicking and arm stroke techniques.
