And I guess I'm supposed to believe you aren't obsessed with Utah - it's only Ute fans that are obsessed with BYU, right?<br><br>It is true that Utah has only beaten one team in a bowl game that ended the season ranked. But, guess what. BYU, who has played a ton more bowl games, only has two victories over teams that ended the season ranked. Both teams have played teams that were ranked at the time of the bowl, and have won those games. But, the loser falls out of the rankings as a result of the loss in the last game of the season.<br><br>That doesn't mean those teams were bad. GaTech was a good team in 2005. Pitt was a BCS conference champ in 2004. So. Miss. was even a decent team in 2003.<br><br>Oregon was a decent team that BYU beat in 2006. So I don't know which "one team" you might be referring to. I know the Utes have been about the only MWC school to have much success against BCS opponents.<br><br>Of course, we could also bring up basketball, where the Utes are the only MWC/WAC team to ever give the conference any bragging rights in the NCAA tournament. Thats great. The only stat I need, though, is the ratio of homly women to men at the various campuses. BYU ratio: 3 homley woman for every man. Utah ratio: .30 homely woman for every man.<br><br>As for the bowl games, who really cares since both opponents are not great. Cougees, you all know that Utah is a much better post season player than you, and the wins prove it. We all know that Utah's a better non-conference player than you against BCS (and non-BCS, ie Tulsa) schools. The records prove that too. Coming from the mid-west, if a giant crater opened up and swallowed the entire Michigan Football team, or Kentucky's Basketball team, I think I might rejoice a little bit. So I understand the rivalry of course... <br><br>But as a transplant to the state, I love to see the successes of both programs. This is wonderful to see. BYU has such a wonderful national following and are lots of fun to watch. The Utes are becoming a national power. Both will win their bowl games and have excellent teams again next year.<br><br>I predict both in the top 25, possibly the top 15 for most of the season next year. <br><br>Coming from Big 10 area, BYU and Utah would do just fine in that conference, as well as the PAC 10, Big 12 or any other BCS conference. Why do Ute and Cougar fans think that only Arizona ended their season in the polls?
