<h1>Join The Society of Ploughmen</h1> <p>The Society of Ploughmen聽has more than 250 local ploughing societies affiliated to it and a membership drawn from not only ploughmen and women from all over the world, but also from individuals who have joined purely out of a love of farming and the countryside.聽All members receive:</p> <ul> <li>The Society of Ploughmen Newsletter聽which is circulated twice yearly. 聽聽</li> <li>Up-to-date聽information on the British, European and World Ploughing contests.</li> <li>Up-to-date information聽on what is happening within the Society of Ploughmen.</li> <li>Free admission聽to the British National Ploughing Championships each year for one person聽(<strong>Personal Member</strong>)聽or two adults and two children聽(<strong>Family</strong>聽or聽<strong>Vice-President</strong>).</li> </ul> <p>As a registered charity we rely on the support of our members and affiliated societies to聽help us to achieve our aims, improve and work towards enhancing member services; improve quality at the British Championships and develop our reputation in the farming community.聽 Please join us and help us to continue this.</p> <h2>Personal Membership - 拢33.00 per year</h2> <p>Includes admission for the one person on both days of the British National Ploughing Championships and a Members Car Park Pass.</p> <h2>Family Membership聽- 拢53.00 per year</h2> <p>Includes admission for two adults and two children for both days of the British National Ploughing Championships and a Members Car Park Pass.</p> <h2>Vice-President Membership聽- 拢65.00 per year</h2> <p>Includes admission for the Vice-President, their聽guest and two children for both days of the British National Ploughing Championships and Ploughmen - the affiliation fee is 拢28聽(including VAT)聽per year.</p> <p>Affiliated societies may nominate one competitor to plough in the British National Ploughing Championships.聽Copies of the official ploughing rules and score sheets are available to affiliated societies on request.</p> <p>Ploughing match dates of all affiliated societies are published free of charge by the Society of Ploughmen in their newsletter which will be sent to the secretary twice a year.聽Ploughing match dates will also be published free of charge on this website.</p> <h3>Apply for society affiliation</h3> Events Across the UK</h2> <p>Ploughing matches are held across the UK and throughout the year. They offer the chance for both novice and experienced ploughmen and women to take part.
