In order to improve quality of semiconductors, various tests are conducted in the post fabrication (FAB) process. During the test process, large amount of data are collected and the data includes a lot of information about defect. In general, the defect on the wafer is the main causes of yield loss. Therefore, analyzing the defect data is necessary to improve performance of yield prediction. The wafer bin map (WBM) is one of the data collected in the test process and includes defect information such as the fail bit patterns. The fail bit has characteristics of spatial point patterns. Therefore, this paper proposes the feature extraction method using the spatial point pattern analysis. Actual data obtained from the semiconductor process is used for experiments and the experimental result shows that the proposed method is more accurately recognize the fail bit patterns. <p class="card-text"><strong>Keywords:</strong> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=semiconductor" title="semiconductor">semiconductor</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=wafer%20bin%20map" title=" wafer bin map"> wafer bin map</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=feature%20extraction" title=" feature extraction"> feature extraction</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=spatial%20point%20patterns" title=" spatial point patterns"> spatial point patterns</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=contour%20map" title=" contour map"> contour map</a> </p> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/5010/a-spatial-point-pattern-analysis-to-recognize-fail-bit-patterns-in-semiconductor-manufacturing" class="btn btn-primary btn-sm">Procedia</a> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/5010.pdf" target="_blank" class="btn btn-primary btn-sm">PDF</a> <span class="bg-info text-light px-1 py-1 float-right rounded"> Downloads <span class="badge badge-light">384</span> </span> </div> </div> <div class="card paper-listing mb-3 mt-3"> <h5 class="card-header" style="font-size:.9rem"><span class="badge badge-info">4866</span> Evaluation of Photovoltaic System with Different Research Methods of Maximum Power Point Tracking </h5> <div class="card-body"> <p class="card-text"><strong>Authors:</strong> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=Mehdi%20Ameur">Mehdi Ameur</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=Ahmed%20Essadki"> Ahmed Essadki</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=Tamou%20Nasser"> Tamou Nasser</a> </p> <p class="card-text"><strong>Abstract:</strong></p> The purpose of this paper is the evaluation of photovoltaic system with MPPT techniques. The obtained data are aligned and fused into a common coordinate system within a registration technique involving coarse and fine registrations. Standardized iterative methods have been established for fine registration such as Iterative Closest Points (ICP) and its variants. For coarse registration, no conventional method has been adopted yet despite a significant number of techniques which have been developed in the literature to supply an automatic rough matching between data sets. Two main issues are addressed in this paper: the coarse registration and the fine registration. For coarse registration, two novel automated methods based on the exploitation of discrete curvatures are presented: an enhanced Hough Transformation (HT) and an improved Ransac Transformation. The use of curvature features in both methods aims to reduce computational cost. For fine registration, a new variant of ICP method is proposed in order to reduce registration error using curvature parameters. A specific distance considering the curvature similarity has been combined with Euclidean distance to define the distance criterion used for correspondences searching. Additionally, the objective function has been improved by combining the point-to-point (P-P) minimization and the point-to-plane (P-Pl) minimization with automatic weights. These ones are determined from the preliminary calculated curvature features at each point of the workpiece surface. The algorithms are applied on simulated and real data performed by a computer tomography (CT) system. The obtained results reveal the benefit of the proposed novel curvature-based registration methods. <p class="card-text"><strong>Keywords:</strong> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=discrete%20curvature" title="discrete curvature">discrete curvature</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=RANSAC%20transformation" title=" RANSAC transformation"> RANSAC transformation</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=hough%20transformation" title=" hough transformation"> hough transformation</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=coarse%20registration" title=" coarse registration"> coarse registration</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=ICP%20variant" title=" ICP variant"> ICP variant</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=point-to-point%20and%20point-to-plane%20minimization%20combination" title=" point-to-point and point-to-plane minimization combination"> point-to-point and point-to-plane minimization combination</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=computer%20tomography" title=" computer tomography"> computer tomography</a> </p> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/36575/curvature-based-methods-for-automatic-coarse-and-fine-registration-in-dimensional-metrology" class="btn btn-primary btn-sm">Procedia</a> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/36575.pdf" target="_blank" class="btn btn-primary btn-sm">PDF</a> <span class="bg-info text-light px-1 py-1 float-right rounded"> Downloads <span class="badge badge-light">424</span> </span> </div> </div> <div class="card paper-listing mb-3 mt-3"> <h5 class="card-header" style="font-size:.9rem"><span class="badge badge-info">4864</span> Efficacy of Deep Learning for Below-Canopy Reconstruction of Satellite and Aerial Sensing Point Clouds through Fractal Tree Symmetry</h5> <div class="card-body"> <p class="card-text"><strong>Authors:</strong> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=Dhanuj%20M.%20Gandikota">Dhanuj M. Gandikota</a> </p> <p class="card-text"><strong>Abstract:</strong></p> Sensor-derived three-dimensional (3D) point clouds of trees are invaluable in remote sensing analysis for the accurate measurement of key structural metrics, bio-inventory values, spatial planning/visualization, and ecological modeling. Machine learning (ML) holds the potential in addressing the restrictive tradeoffs in cost, spatial coverage, resolution, and information gain that exist in current point cloud sensing methods. Terrestrial laser scanning (TLS) remains the highest fidelity source of both canopy and below-canopy structural features, but usage is limited in both coverage and cost, requiring manual deployment to map out large, forested areas. While aerial laser scanning (ALS) remains a reliable avenue of LIDAR active remote sensing, ALS is also cost-restrictive in deployment methods. Space-borne photogrammetry from high-resolution satellite constellations is an avenue of passive remote sensing with promising viability in research for the accurate construction of vegetation 3-D point clouds. It provides both the lowest comparative cost and the largest spatial coverage across remote sensing methods. However, both space-borne photogrammetry and ALS demonstrate technical limitations in the capture of valuable below-canopy point cloud data. Looking to minimize these tradeoffs, we explored a class of powerful ML algorithms called Deep Learning (DL) that show promise in recent research on 3-D point cloud reconstruction and interpolation. Our research details the efficacy of applying these DL techniques to reconstruct accurate below-canopy point clouds from space-borne and aerial remote sensing through learned patterns of tree species fractal symmetry properties and the supplementation of locally sourced bio-inventory metrics. From our dataset, consisting of tree point clouds obtained from TLS, we deconstructed the point clouds of each tree into those that would be obtained through ALS and satellite photogrammetry of varying resolutions. We fed this ALS/satellite point cloud dataset, along with the simulated local bio-inventory metrics, into the DL point cloud reconstruction architectures to generate the full 3-D tree point clouds (the truth values are denoted by the full TLS tree point clouds containing the below-canopy information). Point cloud reconstruction accuracy was validated both through the measurement of error from the original TLS point clouds as well as the error of extraction of key structural metrics, such as crown base height, diameter above root crown, and leaf/wood volume. The results of this research additionally demonstrate the supplemental performance gain of using minimum locally sourced bio-inventory metric information as an input in ML systems to reach specified accuracy thresholds of tree point cloud reconstruction. This research provides insight into methods for the rapid, cost-effective, and accurate construction of below-canopy tree 3-D point clouds, as well as the supported potential of ML and DL to learn complex, unmodeled patterns of fractal tree growth symmetry. <p class="card-text"><strong>Keywords:</strong> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=deep%20learning" title="deep learning">deep learning</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=machine%20learning" title=" machine learning"> machine learning</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=satellite" title=" satellite"> satellite</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=photogrammetry" title=" photogrammetry"> photogrammetry</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=aerial%20laser%20scanning" title=" aerial laser scanning"> aerial laser scanning</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=terrestrial%20laser%20scanning" title=" terrestrial laser scanning"> terrestrial laser scanning</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=point%20cloud" title=" point cloud"> point cloud</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=fractal%20symmetry" title=" fractal symmetry"> fractal symmetry</a> </p> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/151864/efficacy-of-deep-learning-for-below-canopy-reconstruction-of-satellite-and-aerial-sensing-point-clouds-through-fractal-tree-symmetry" class="btn btn-primary btn-sm">Procedia</a> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/151864.pdf" target="_blank" class="btn btn-primary btn-sm">PDF</a> <span class="bg-info text-light px-1 py-1 float-right rounded"> Downloads <span class="badge badge-light">102</span> </span> </div> </div> <div class="card paper-listing mb-3 mt-3"> <h5 class="card-header" style="font-size:.9rem"><span class="badge badge-info">4863</span> Temporally Coherent 3D Animation Reconstruction from RGB-D Video Data</h5> <div class="card-body"> <p class="card-text"><strong>Authors:</strong> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=Salam%20Khalifa">Salam Khalifa</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=Naveed%20Ahmed"> Naveed Ahmed</a> </p> <p class="card-text"><strong>Abstract:</strong></p> We present a new method to reconstruct a temporally coherent 3D animation from single or multi-view RGB-D video data using unbiased feature point sampling. In this study, the physicochemical properties of biolubricants synthesized from different vegetable oils were evaluated and compared with petroleum-based lubricant and pure vegetable oil. Chemical modifications applied to the original vegetable oil improved their oxidative stability and pour point significantly. The addition of commercial antioxidants to the bio-based lubricants was evaluated, yielding values of oxidative stability close to those of mineral basestock oil. <p class="card-text"><strong>Keywords:</strong> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=biolubricant" title="biolubricant">biolubricant</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=vegetable%20oil" title=" vegetable oil"> vegetable oil</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=oxidative%20stability" title=" oxidative stability"> oxidative stability</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=pour%20point" title=" pour point"> pour point</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=antioxidants" title=" antioxidants"> antioxidants</a> </p> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/56166/studies-on-the-physicochemical-properties-of-biolubricants-obtained-from-vegetable-oils-and-their-oxidative-stability" class="btn btn-primary btn-sm">Procedia</a> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/56166.pdf" target="_blank" class="btn btn-primary btn-sm">PDF</a> <span class="bg-info text-light px-1 py-1 float-right rounded"> Downloads <span class="badge badge-light">312</span> </span> </div> </div> <div class="card paper-listing mb-3 mt-3"> <h5 class="card-header" style="font-size:.9rem"><span class="badge badge-info">4860</span> Fault Prognostic and Prediction Based on the Importance Degree of Test Point</h5> <div class="card-body"> <p class="card-text"><strong>Authors:</strong> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=Junfeng%20Yan">Junfeng Yan</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=Wenkui%20Hou"> Wenkui Hou</a> </p> <p class="card-text"><strong>Abstract:</strong></p> Prognostics and Health Management (PHM) is a technology to monitor the equipment status and predict impending faults. It is used to predict the potential fault and provide fault information and track trends of system degradation by capturing characteristics signals. So how to detect characteristics signals is very important. The select of test point plays a very important role in detecting characteristics signal. Traditionally, we use dependency model to select the test point containing the most detecting information. But, facing the large complicated system, the dependency model is not built so easily sometimes and the greater trouble is how to calculate the matrix. Rely on this premise, the paper provide a highly effective method to select test point without dependency model. Because signal flow model is a diagnosis model based on failure mode, which focuses on system’s failure mode and the dependency relationship between the test points and faults. In the signal flow model, a fault information can flow from the beginning to the end. According to the signal flow model, we can find out location and structure information of every test point and module. We break the signal flow model up into serial and parallel parts to obtain the final relationship function between the system’s testability or prediction metrics and test points. Further, through the partial derivatives operation, we can obtain every test point’s importance degree in determining the testability metrics, such as undetected rate, false alarm rate, untrusted rate. This contributes to installing the test point according to the real requirement and also provides a solid foundation for the Prognostics and Health Management. According to the real effect of the practical engineering application, the method is very efficient. <p class="card-text"><strong>Keywords:</strong> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=false%20alarm%20rate" title="false alarm rate">false alarm rate</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=importance%20degree" title=" importance degree"> importance degree</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=signal%20flow%20model" title=" signal flow model"> signal flow model</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=undetected%20rate" title=" undetected rate"> undetected rate</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=untrusted%20rate" title=" untrusted rate"> untrusted rate</a> </p> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/28396/fault-prognostic-and-prediction-based-on-the-importance-degree-of-test-point" class="btn btn-primary btn-sm">Procedia</a> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/28396.pdf" target="_blank" class="btn btn-primary btn-sm">PDF</a> <span class="bg-info text-light px-1 py-1 float-right rounded"> Downloads <span class="badge badge-light">377</span> </span> </div> </div> <div class="card paper-listing mb-3 mt-3"> <h5 class="card-header" style="font-size:.9rem"><span class="badge badge-info">4859</span> Improvement Perturb and Observe for a Fast Response MPPT Applied to Photovoltaic Panel</h5> <div class="card-body"> <p class="card-text"><strong>Authors:</strong> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=Labar%20Hocine">Labar Hocine</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=Kelaiaia%20Mounia%20Samira"> Kelaiaia Mounia Samira</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=Mesbah%20Tarek"> Mesbah Tarek</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=Kelaiaia%20Samia"> Kelaiaia Samia</a> </p> <p class="card-text"><strong>Abstract:</strong></p> Maximum power point tracking (MPPT) techniques are used in photovoltaic (PV) systems to maximize the PV array output power by tracking continuously the maximum power point(MPP) which depends on panels temperature and on irradiance conditions. The main drawback of P&O is that, the operating point oscillates around the MPP giving rise to the waste of some amount of available energy; moreover, it is well known that the P&O algorithm can be confused during those time intervals characterized by rapidly changing atmospheric conditions. In this paper, it is shown that in order to limit the negative effects associated to the above drawbacks, the P&O MPPT parameters must be customized to the dynamic behavior of the specific converter adopted. A theoretical analysis allowing the optimal choice of such initial set parameters is also carried out. Pepper’s ghost is a form of hologram conceptualised in the 18th century. This Holographic visualisation with metrology measuring techniques by displaying measurements taken in real-time in holographic form can assist in research and education. New structural designs such as the Plexiglass Stand and the Hologram Box can optimise the holographic experience. Method: The equipment used included: (i) Zeiss’s ATOS Core 300 optical coordinate measuring instrument that scanned real-world objects; (ii) Cloud Compare, open-source software used for point cloud processing; and (iii) Hologram Box, designed and manufactured during this research to provide the blackout environment needed to display 3D point clouds in real-time measurements in holographic format, in addition to a portability aspect to holograms. The equipment was tailored to realise the goal of displaying measurements in an innovative technique and to improve on conventional methods. Three test scans were completed before doing a holographic conversion. Results: The outcome was a precise recreation of the original object in the holographic form presented with dense point clouds and surface density features in a colour map. Conclusion: This work establishes a way to visualise data in a point cloud system. To our understanding, this is a work that has never been attempted. This achievement provides an advancement in holographic visualisation. The Hologram Box could be used as a feedback tool for measurement quality control and verification in future smart factories. <p class="card-text"><strong>Keywords:</strong> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=holography" title="holography">holography</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=3D%20scans" title=" 3D scans"> 3D scans</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=hologram%20box" title=" hologram box"> hologram box</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=metrology" title=" metrology"> metrology</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=point%20cloud" title=" point cloud"> point cloud</a> </p> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/163214/holographic-visualisation-of-3d-point-clouds-in-real-time-measurements-a-proof-of-concept-study" class="btn btn-primary btn-sm">Procedia</a> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/163214.pdf" target="_blank" class="btn btn-primary btn-sm">PDF</a> <span class="bg-info text-light px-1 py-1 float-right rounded"> Downloads <span class="badge badge-light">89</span> </span> </div> </div> <div class="card paper-listing mb-3 mt-3"> <h5 class="card-header" style="font-size:.9rem"><span class="badge badge-info">4857</span> Modification of Newton Method in Two Point Block Backward Differentiation Formulas</h5> <div class="card-body"> <p class="card-text"><strong>Authors:</strong> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=Khairil%20I.%20Othman">Khairil I. This technology brought more facilities in communication and networking. On the other hand, due to the transmission of data over the air, which makes the network vulnerable, so it becomes prone to various threats such as Evil Twin and etc. The Evil Twin is a kind of adversary which impersonates a legitimate access point (LAP) as it can happen by spoofing the name (SSID) and MAC address (BSSID) of a legitimate access point (LAP). And this attack can cause many threats such as MITM, Service Interruption, Access point service blocking. Various Evil Twin Attack Detection Techniques are proposed, but they require additional hardware, or they require protocol modification. In this paper, we proposed a new technique based on Access Point’s two fingerprints, Received Signal Strength Indicator (RSSI) and Hop Count, that is hard to copy by an adversary. And we implemented the technique in a system called “ETDetector,” which can detect and prevent the attack. <p class="card-text"><strong>Keywords:</strong> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=evil%20twin" title="evil twin">evil twin</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=LAP" title=" LAP"> LAP</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=SSID" title=" SSID"> SSID</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=Wi-Fi%20security" title=" Wi-Fi security"> Wi-Fi security</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=signal%20variation" title=" signal variation"> signal variation</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=ETAD" title=" ETAD"> ETAD</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=kali%20linux" title=" kali linux"> kali linux</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=scapy" title=" scapy"> scapy</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=python" title=" python"> python</a> </p> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/144961/public-wi-fi-security-threat-evil-twin-attack-detection-based-on-signal-variant-and-hop-count" class="btn btn-primary btn-sm">Procedia</a> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/144961.pdf" target="_blank" class="btn btn-primary btn-sm">PDF</a> <span class="bg-info text-light px-1 py-1 float-right rounded"> Downloads <span class="badge badge-light">143</span> </span> </div> </div> <div class="card paper-listing mb-3 mt-3"> <h5 class="card-header" style="font-size:.9rem"><span class="badge badge-info">4855</span> Optimization of Reliability and Communicability of a Random Two-Dimensional Point Patterns Using Delaunay Triangulation</h5> <div class="card-body"> <p class="card-text"><strong>Authors:</strong> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=Sopheak%20Sorn">Sopheak Sorn</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=Kwok%20Yip%20Szeto"> Kwok Yip Szeto</a> </p> <p class="card-text"><strong>Abstract:</strong></p> Reliability is one of the important measures of how well the system meets its design objective, and mathematically is the probability that a complex system will perform satisfactorily. When the system is described by a network of N components (nodes) and their L connection (links), the reliability of the system becomes a network design problem that is an NP-hard combinatorial optimization problem. In this paper, we address the network design problem for a random point set’s pattern in two dimensions. We make use of a Voronoi construction with each cell containing exactly one point in the point pattern and compute the reliability of the Voronoi’s dual, i.e. the Delaunay graph. We further investigate the communicability of the Delaunay network. We find that there is a positive correlation and a negative correlation between the homogeneity of a Delaunay's degree distribution with its reliability and its communicability respectively. Based on the correlations, we alter the communicability and the reliability by performing random edge flips, which preserve the number of links and nodes in the network but can increase the communicability in a Delaunay network at the cost of its reliability. This transformation is later used to optimize a Delaunay network with the optimum geometric mean between communicability and reliability. We also discuss the importance of the edge flips in the evolution of real soap froth in two dimensions. <p class="card-text"><strong>Keywords:</strong> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=Communicability" title="Communicability">Communicability</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=Delaunay%20triangulation" title=" Delaunay triangulation"> Delaunay triangulation</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=Edge%20Flip" title=" Edge Flip"> Edge Flip</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=Reliability" title=" Reliability"> Reliability</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=Two%20dimensional%20network" title=" Two dimensional network"> Two dimensional network</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=Voronio" title=" Voronio"> Voronio</a> </p> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/21555/optimization-of-reliability-and-communicability-of-a-random-two-dimensional-point-patterns-using-delaunay-triangulation" class="btn btn-primary btn-sm">Procedia</a> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/21555.pdf" target="_blank" class="btn btn-primary btn-sm">PDF</a> <span class="bg-info text-light px-1 py-1 float-right rounded"> Downloads <span class="badge badge-light">419</span> </span> </div> </div> <div class="card paper-listing mb-3 mt-3"> <h5 class="card-header" style="font-size:.9rem"><span class="badge badge-info">4854</span> Optimal Location of the I/O Point in the Parking System</h5> <div class="card-body"> <p class="card-text"><strong>Authors:</strong> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=Jing%20Zhang">Jing Zhang</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=Jie%20Chen"> Jie Chen</a> </p> <p class="card-text"><strong>Abstract:</strong></p> In this paper, we deal with the optimal I/O point location in an automated parking system. The metal oxide nanoparticles will reduce the carbon monoxide emissions by donating oxygen atoms from their lattices to catalyze the combustion reactions and to aid complete combustion; due to this, there will be an increase in the calorific value of the blend (fuel + metal nanoparticles). Aluminium oxide and cobalt oxide nanoparticles have been synthesized by sol-gel method. The characterization was done by Fourier Transform Infrared Spectroscopy (FTIR), X-Ray Diffraction (XRD), Scanning Electron Microscope (SEM) and Energy Dispersive X-ray Spectroscopy (EDS). The size of the particles was determined by XRD to be 28.6 nm and 28.06 nm for aluminium oxide and cobalt oxide nanoparticles respectively. Different concentration blends- 50, 100, 150 ppm were prepared by adding the required weight of metal oxides in 1 liter of diesel and sonicating for 30 minutes at 500W. The blend properties- calorific value, viscosity, and flash point were determined by bomb calorimeter, Brookfield viscometer and pensky-martin apparatus. For the aluminum oxide blended diesel, there was a maximum increase of 5.544% in the calorific value, but at the same time, there was an increase in the flash point from 43°C to 58.5°C and an increase in the viscosity from 2.45 cP to 3.25 cP. On the other hand, for the cobalt oxide blended diesel there was a maximum increase of 2.012% in the calorific value while the flash point increased from 43°C to 51.5°C and the viscosity increased from 2.45 cP to 2.94 cP. There was a linear increase in the calorific value, viscosity and flash point when the concentration of the metal oxide nanoparticles in the blend was increased. For the 50 ppm Al₂O₃ and 50 ppm Co₃O₄ blend the increasing the calorific value was 1.228 %, and the viscosity changed from 2.45 cP to 2.64 cP and the flash point increased from 43°C to 50.5°C. Clearly the aluminium oxide nanoparticles increase the calorific value but at the cost of flash point and viscosity, thus it is better to use the 50 ppm aluminium oxide, and 50 ppm cobalt oxide blended diesel. <p class="card-text"><strong>Keywords:</strong> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=aluminium%20oxide%20nanoparticles" title="aluminium oxide nanoparticles">aluminium oxide nanoparticles</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=cobalt%20oxide%20nanoparticles" title=" cobalt oxide nanoparticles"> cobalt oxide nanoparticles</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=fuel%20additives" title=" fuel additives"> fuel additives</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=fuel%20characteristics" title=" fuel characteristics"> fuel characteristics</a> </p> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/72707/an-experimental-investigation-on-the-fuel-characteristics-of-nano-aluminium-oxide-and-nano-cobalt-oxide-particles-blended-in-diesel-fuel" class="btn btn-primary btn-sm">Procedia</a> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/72707.pdf" target="_blank" class="btn btn-primary btn-sm">PDF</a> <span class="bg-info text-light px-1 py-1 float-right rounded"> Downloads <span class="badge badge-light">322</span> </span> </div> </div> <div class="card paper-listing mb-3 mt-3"> <h5 class="card-header" style="font-size:.9rem"><span class="badge badge-info">4851</span> Effect of Hydraulic Diameter on Flow Boiling Instability in a Single Microtube with Vertical Upward Flow</h5> <div class="card-body"> <p class="card-text"><strong>Authors:</strong> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=Qian%20You">Qian You</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=Ibrahim%20Hassan"> Ibrahim Hassan</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=Lyes%20Kadem"> Lyes Kadem</a> </p> <p class="card-text"><strong>Abstract:</strong></p> An experiment is conducted to fundamentally investigate flow oscillation characteristics in different sizes of single microtubes in vertical upward flow direction. Three microtubes have 0.889 mm, 0.533 mm, and 0.305 mm hydraulic diameters with 100 mm identical heated length. The mass flux of the working fluid FC-72 varies from 700 kg/m2•s to 1400 kg/m2•s, and the heat flux is uniformly applied on the tube surface up to 9.4 W/cm2. The subcooled inlet temperature is maintained around 24°C during the experiment. The effect of hydraulic diameter and mass flux are studied. The results showed that they have interactions on the flow oscillations occurrence and behaviors. The onset of flow instability (OFI), which is a threshold of unstable flow, usually appears in large microtube with diversified and sustained flow oscillations, while the transient point, which is the point when the flow turns from one stable state to another suddenly, is more observed in small microtube without characterized flow oscillations due to the bubble confinement. The OFI/transient point occurs early as hydraulic diameter reduces at a given mass flux. The increased mass flux can delay the OFI/transient point occurrence in large hydraulic diameter, but no significant effect in small size. Although the only transient point is observed in the smallest tube, it appears at small heat flux and is not sensitive to mass flux; hence, the smallest microtube is not recommended since increasing heat flux may cause local dryout. <p class="card-text"><strong>Keywords:</strong> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=flow%20boiling%20instability" title="flow boiling instability">flow boiling instability</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=hydraulic%20diameter%20effect" title=" hydraulic diameter effect"> hydraulic diameter effect</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=a%20single%20microtube" title=" a single microtube"> a single microtube</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=vertical%20upward%20flow" title=" vertical upward flow"> vertical upward flow</a> </p> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/29887/effect-of-hydraulic-diameter-on-flow-boiling-instability-in-a-single-microtube-with-vertical-upward-flow" class="btn btn-primary btn-sm">Procedia</a> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/29887.pdf" target="_blank" class="btn btn-primary btn-sm">PDF</a> <span class="bg-info text-light px-1 py-1 float-right rounded"> Downloads <span class="badge badge-light">600</span> </span> </div> </div> <div class="card paper-listing mb-3 mt-3"> <h5 class="card-header" style="font-size:.9rem"><span class="badge badge-info">4850</span> Direct Transient Stability Assessment of Stressed Power Systems</h5> <div class="card-body"> <p class="card-text"><strong>Authors:</strong> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=E.%20Popov">E. The method obtains Controlling Unstable Equilibrium Point (CUEP) which is essential for estimation of power system stability margins. The CUEP is computed by applying the CTrjto the boundary controlling unstable equilibrium point (BCU) method. The Proposed method computes a trajectory on the stability boundary that starts from the exit point and reaches CUEP under certain assumptions. The robustness and effectiveness of the method are demonstrated via six power system models and five loading conditions. The study gives a comprehensive survey of various iterative fixed point results for the classes of multivalued ρ-contractive-like, ρ-quasi-contractive-like, ρ-quasi-contractive, ρ-Zamfirescu and ρ-contraction mappings in the framework of modular function spaces. An example is presented to demonstrate the applicability of the implicit-type iterative schemes to the system of ordinary differential equations. Furthermore, numerical examples are given to show the rate of convergence of the various explicit Kirk-type and implicit Kirk-type iterative schemes under consideration. Our results complement the results obtained on normed and metric spaces in the literature. Also, our methods of proof serve as a guide to obtain several similar improved results for nonexpansive, pseudo-contractive, and accretive type mappings. <p class="card-text"><strong>Keywords:</strong> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=implicit%20Kirk-type%20iterative%20schemes" title="implicit Kirk-type iterative schemes">implicit Kirk-type iterative schemes</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=multivalued%20mappings" title=" multivalued mappings"> multivalued mappings</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=convergence%20results" title=" convergence results"> convergence results</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=fixed%20point" title=" fixed point"> fixed point</a> </p> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/151918/a-survey-on-fixed-point-iterations-in-modular-function-spaces-and-an-application-to-ode" class="btn btn-primary btn-sm">Procedia</a> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/151918.pdf" target="_blank" class="btn btn-primary btn-sm">PDF</a> <span class="bg-info text-light px-1 py-1 float-right rounded"> Downloads <span class="badge badge-light">128</span> </span> </div> </div> <div class="card paper-listing mb-3 mt-3"> <h5 class="card-header" style="font-size:.9rem"><span class="badge badge-info">4848</span> Simulating Economic Order Quantity and Reorder Point Policy for a Repairable Items Inventory System </h5> <div class="card-body"> <p class="card-text"><strong>Authors:</strong> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=Mojahid%20F.%20Saeed%20Osman">Mojahid F. This paper presents development of an effective simulation model for managing the inventory of repairable items for a production system where production lines send their faulty items to a repair shop considering the stochastic failure behavior and repair times. The developed model imitates the process of handling the on-hand inventory of repaired items and the replenishment of the inventory of new items using Economic Order Quantity and Reorder Point ordering policy in a flexible and risk-free environment. We demonstrate the appropriateness and effectiveness of the proposed simulation model using an illustrative case problem. The developed simulation model can be used as a reliable tool for estimating a healthy on-hand inventory of new and repaired items, backordered items, and downtime due to unavailability of repaired items, and validating and examining Economic Order Quantity and Reorder Point ordering policy, which would further be compared with other ordering strategies as future work. <p class="card-text"><strong>Keywords:</strong> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=inventory%20system" title="inventory system">inventory system</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=repairable%20items" title=" repairable items"> repairable items</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=simulation" title=" simulation"> simulation</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=maintenance" title=" maintenance"> maintenance</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=economic%20order%20quantity" title=" economic order quantity"> economic order quantity</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=reorder%20point" title=" reorder point"> reorder point</a> </p> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/122752/simulating-economic-order-quantity-and-reorder-point-policy-for-a-repairable-items-inventory-system" class="btn btn-primary btn-sm">Procedia</a> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/122752.pdf" target="_blank" class="btn btn-primary btn-sm">PDF</a> <span class="bg-info text-light px-1 py-1 float-right rounded"> Downloads <span class="badge badge-light">144</span> </span> </div> </div> <div class="card paper-listing mb-3 mt-3"> <h5 class="card-header" style="font-size:.9rem"><span class="badge badge-info">4847</span> Mapping Tunnelling Parameters for Global Optimization in Big Data via Dye Laser Simulation</h5> <div class="card-body"> <p class="card-text"><strong>Authors:</strong> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=Sahil%20Imtiyaz">Sahil Imtiyaz</a> </p> <p class="card-text"><strong>Abstract:</strong></p> One of the biggest challenges has emerged from the ever-expanding, dynamic, and instantaneously changing space-Big Data; and to find a data point and inherit wisdom to this space is a hard task. In this paper, we reduce the space of big data in Hamiltonian formalism that is in concordance with Ising Model. For this formulation, we simulate the system using dye laser in FORTRAN and analyse the dynamics of the data point in energy well of rhodium atom. After mapping the photon intensity and pulse width with energy and potential we concluded that as we increase the energy there is also increase in probability of tunnelling up to some point and then it starts decreasing and then shows a randomizing behaviour. It is due to decoherence with the environment and hence there is a loss of ‘quantumness’. This interprets the efficiency parameter and the extent of quantum evolution. The results are strongly encouraging in favour of the use of ‘Topological Property’ as a source of information instead of the qubit. <p class="card-text"><strong>Keywords:</strong> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=big%20data" title="big data">big data</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=optimization" title=" optimization"> optimization</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=quantum%20evolution" title=" quantum evolution"> quantum evolution</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=hamiltonian" title=" hamiltonian"> hamiltonian</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=dye%20laser" title=" dye laser"> dye laser</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=fermionic%20computations" title=" fermionic computations"> fermionic computations</a> </p> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/89927/mapping-tunnelling-parameters-for-global-optimization-in-big-data-via-dye-laser-simulation" class="btn btn-primary btn-sm">Procedia</a> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/89927.pdf" target="_blank" class="btn btn-primary btn-sm">PDF</a> <span class="bg-info text-light px-1 py-1 float-right rounded"> Downloads <span class="badge badge-light">194</span> </span> </div> </div> <div class="card paper-listing mb-3 mt-3"> <h5 class="card-header" style="font-size:.9rem"><span class="badge badge-info">4846</span> First-Person Point of View in Contrast to Globalisation in Somerset Maugham’s ‘Mr. Know-All’</h5> <div class="card-body"> <p class="card-text"><strong>Authors:</strong> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=Armel%20Mbon">Armel Mbon</a> </p> <p class="card-text"><strong>Abstract:</strong></p> This paper discusses the first-person point of view in Maugham's 'Mr. Know-All.' It particularly analyses the narrator's position in relation to the story told in this short story, with the intention of disclosing the latter's prejudice against Mr. Kelada, the protagonist, and, consequently, its hindrance to globalisation. It thus underlines the fact that this protagonist and other travellers are different colours, but one person on this ship epitomises globalisation. The general attitude of readers is that they are inclined to easily believe the narrator while forgetting that fiction is the work of a taler, a teller, but, first and foremost, a liar. The audience, whether it is disconnected from the setting or not, also tends to forget that "travellers from afar can lie with impunity." In fact, the nameless narrator in Maugham's short story has a persona that leaves a lot to be desired. He is prejudiced against Mr. Kelada, known as Mr. Know-All, as will be evidenced by the scrutiny of his diction. This paper finally purports to show that those who proclaim globalisation loudly are not ready to live together. <p class="card-text"><strong>Keywords:</strong> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=narrator" title="narrator">narrator</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=persona" title=" persona"> persona</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=point%20of%20view" title=" point of view"> point of view</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=diction" title=" diction"> diction</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=contrast" title=" contrast"> contrast</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=globalisation" title=" globalisation"> globalisation</a> </p> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/155586/first-person-point-of-view-in-contrast-to-globalisation-in-somerset-maughams-mr-know-all" class="btn btn-primary btn-sm">Procedia</a> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/155586.pdf" target="_blank" class="btn btn-primary btn-sm">PDF</a> <span class="bg-info text-light px-1 py-1 float-right rounded"> Downloads <span class="badge badge-light">92</span> </span> </div> </div> <div class="card paper-listing mb-3 mt-3"> <h5 class="card-header" style="font-size:.9rem"><span class="badge badge-info">4845</span> Economic Load Dispatch with Valve-Point Loading Effect by Using Differential Evolution Immunized Ant Colony Optimization Technique</h5> <div class="card-body"> <p class="card-text"><strong>Authors:</strong> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=Nur%20Azzammudin%20Rahmat">Nur Azzammudin Rahmat</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=Ismail%20Musirin"> Ismail Musirin</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=Ahmad%20Farid%20Abidin"> Ahmad Farid Abidin</a> </p> <p class="card-text"><strong>Abstract:</strong></p> Economic load dispatch is performed by the utilities in order to determine the best generation level at the most feasible operating cost. In order to guarantee satisfying energy delivery to the consumer, a precise calculation of generation level is required. In order to achieve accurate and practical solution, several considerations such as prohibited operating zones, valve-point effect and ramp-rate limit need to be taken into account. However, these considerations cause the optimization to become complex and difficult to solve. This research focuses on the valve-point effect that causes ripple in the fuel-cost curve. This paper also proposes Differential Evolution Immunized Ant Colony Optimization (DEIANT) in solving economic load dispatch problem with valve-point effect. Comparative studies involving DEIANT, EP and ACO are conducted on IEEE 30-Bus RTS for performance assessments. Results indicate that DEIANT is superior to the other compared methods in terms of calculating lower operating cost and power loss. <p class="card-text"><strong>Keywords:</strong> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=ant%20colony%20optimization%20%28ACO%29" title="ant colony optimization (ACO)">ant colony optimization (ACO)</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=differential%20evolution%20%28DE%29" title=" differential evolution (DE)"> differential evolution (DE)</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=differential%20evolution%20immunized%20ant%20colony%20optimization%20%28DEIANT%29" title=" differential evolution immunized ant colony optimization (DEIANT)"> differential evolution immunized ant colony optimization (DEIANT)</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=economic%20load%20dispatch%20%28ELD%29" title=" economic load dispatch (ELD)"> economic load dispatch (ELD)</a> </p> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/6637/economic-load-dispatch-with-valve-point-loading-effect-by-using-differential-evolution-immunized-ant-colony-optimization-technique" class="btn btn-primary btn-sm">Procedia</a> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/6637.pdf" target="_blank" class="btn btn-primary btn-sm">PDF</a> <span class="bg-info text-light px-1 py-1 float-right rounded"> Downloads <span class="badge badge-light">446</span> </span> </div> </div> <div class="card paper-listing mb-3 mt-3"> <h5 class="card-header" style="font-size:.9rem"><span class="badge badge-info">4844</span> Fish Oil and Its Methyl Ester as an Alternate Fuel in the Direct Injection Diesel Engine</h5> <div class="card-body"> <p class="card-text"><strong>Authors:</strong> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=Pavan%20Pujar">Pavan Pujar</a> </p> <p class="card-text"><strong>Abstract:</strong></p> Mackerel Fish oil was used as the raw material to produce the biodiesel in this study. However, the output power induced in the photovoltaic modules is influenced by an intensity of solar cell radiation, temperature of the solar cells and so on. Therefore, to maximize the efficiency of the photovoltaic system, it is necessary to track the maximum power point of the PV array, for this Maximum Power Point Tracking (MPPT) technique is used. These algorithms are based on the Perturb-Observe, Conductance-Increment and the Fuzzy Logic methods. These techniques vary in many aspects as: simplicity, convergence speed, digital or analogical implementation, sensors required, cost, range of effectiveness, and in other aspects. This paper presents a comparative study of three widely-adopted MPPT algorithms; their performance is evaluated on the energy point of view, by using the simulation tool Simulink®, considering different solar irradiance variations. MPPT using fuzzy logic shows superior performance and more reliable control to the other methods for this application. <p class="card-text"><strong>Keywords:</strong> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=photovoltaic%20system" title="photovoltaic system">photovoltaic system</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=MPPT" title=" MPPT"> MPPT</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=perturb%20and%20observe%20%28P%26O%29" title=" perturb and observe (P&amp;O)"> perturb and observe (P&amp;O)</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=incremental%20conductance%20%28INC%29" title=" incremental conductance (INC)"> incremental conductance (INC)</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=Fuzzy%20Logic%20%28FLC%29" title=" Fuzzy Logic (FLC)"> Fuzzy Logic (FLC)</a> </p> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/13973/a-comparative-study-of-the-maximum-power-point-tracking-methods-for-pv-systems-using-boost-converter" class="btn btn-primary btn-sm">Procedia</a> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/13973.pdf" target="_blank" class="btn btn-primary btn-sm">PDF</a> <span class="bg-info text-light px-1 py-1 float-right rounded"> Downloads <span class="badge badge-light">411</span> </span> </div> </div> <div class="card paper-listing mb-3 mt-3"> <h5 class="card-header" style="font-size:.9rem"><span class="badge badge-info">4841</span> Production of Pour Point Depressant for Paraffinic Crude Oils</h5> <div class="card-body"> <p class="card-text"><strong>Authors:</strong> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=Mosaad%20Attia%20Elkasaby">Mosaad Attia Elkasaby</a> </p> <p class="card-text"><strong>Abstract:</strong></p> The crude oil contains paraffines, aromatics, and asphaltenes in addition to some organic impurities, with increasing demands to reduce the cost of crude oil production, the uses of a pour point depressant is mandatory to maintain good flow rate. The wax materials cause many problems during production, storage, and transport, especially at low temperature, as these waxes tend, at low temperatures, to precipitate on the wall lines, thus leads to the high viscosity of crude oil and impede the flow rate, which represents an additional burden for crude oil pumping system from the place of production to the refinery. There are many ways to solve this problem, including, but not limited to, heat the crude and the use of organic solvents. But one of the most important disadvantages of these methods is the high economic cost. The aim of this innovation is to manufacture some polymeric materials (polymers based on aniline) that are processed locally that can be used as a pour point depressant of crude oil. For the first time, polymer based on aniline is modified and used with a number of organic solvents and tested with solvent (Styrene). It was found that the polymer based on aniline, when modified, had full solubility in styrene, unlike other organic solvent that was used in the past, such as chloroform and toluene. We also used a new solvent (PONA) that is obtained from the process of hydrotreating and separation of straight run naphtha to dissolve polymer based on aniline as a pour point depressant of crude oil. This innovative include studies conducted on highly paraffinic crude oil (C.O.1 and C.O.2). On using concentration (2500 ppm) of polymer based on aniline, the pour point of crude oil has decreased from +33 to - 9°C in case of crude oil (C.O.1) and from + 42 to – 6°C in case crude oil (C.O.2) at the same concentration. <p class="card-text"><strong>Keywords:</strong> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=PPD" title="PPD">PPD</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=aniline" title=" aniline"> aniline</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=paraffinic%20crude%20oils" title=" paraffinic crude oils"> paraffinic crude oils</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=polymers" title=" polymers"> polymers</a> </p> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/159751/production-of-pour-point-depressant-for-paraffinic-crude-oils" class="btn btn-primary btn-sm">Procedia</a> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/159751.pdf" target="_blank" class="btn btn-primary btn-sm">PDF</a> <span class="bg-info text-light px-1 py-1 float-right rounded"> Downloads <span class="badge badge-light">93</span> </span> </div> </div> <div class="card paper-listing mb-3 mt-3"> <h5 class="card-header" style="font-size:.9rem"><span class="badge badge-info">4840</span> Inverse Cauchy Problem of Doubly Connected Domains via Spectral Meshless Radial Point Interpolation</h5> <div class="card-body"> <p class="card-text"><strong>Authors:</strong> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=Elyas%20Shivanian">Elyas Shivanian</a> </p> <p class="card-text"><strong>Abstract:</strong></p> In this paper, the spectral meshless radial point interpolation (SMRPI) technique is applied to the Cauchy problems of two-dimensional elliptic PDEs in doubly connected domains. It is obtained the unknown data on the inner boundary of the domain while overspecified boundary data are imposed on the outer boundary of the domain by using the SMRPI. Shape functions, which are constructed through point interpolation method using the radial basis functions, help us to treat problem locally with the aim of high order convergence rate. In this way, localization in SMRPI can reduce the ill-conditioning for Cauchy problem. Furthermore, we improve previous results and it is revealed the SMRPI is more accurate and stable by adding strong perturbations. <p class="card-text"><strong>Keywords:</strong> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=cauchy%20problem" title="cauchy problem">cauchy problem</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=doubly%20connected%20domain" title=" doubly connected domain"> doubly connected domain</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=radial%20basis%20function" title=" radial basis function"> radial basis function</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=shape%20function" title=" shape function"> shape function</a> </p> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/56408/inverse-cauchy-problem-of-doubly-connected-domains-via-spectral-meshless-radial-point-interpolation" class="btn btn-primary btn-sm">Procedia</a> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/56408.pdf" target="_blank" class="btn btn-primary btn-sm">PDF</a> <span class="bg-info text-light px-1 py-1 float-right rounded"> Downloads <span class="badge badge-light">278</span> </span> </div> </div> <div class="card paper-listing mb-3 mt-3"> <h5 class="card-header" style="font-size:.9rem"><span class="badge badge-info">4839</span> Phraseologisms With The Spices And Food Additives Component In Polish And Russian. The purpose of the study is to analyze the phraseologisms from the point of view of lexis and semantics. The material for analysis was extracted from Phraseological Dictionaries of Polish and Russian. The phraseologisms were considered from the lexical point of view, taking into account the name of the " spices and food additives" component, which forms them. From the semantic point of view, 12 semantic groups of phraseologisms were separated in Polish, while 9 semantic groups were separated in Russian. In addition is shown their functioning in the contexts of contemporary Polish and Russian. The contexts were taken from the National Corpus of the Polish Language and the National Corpus of the Russian Language. <p class="card-text"><strong>Keywords:</strong> <a
