It is intuitive which makes its simple on my part. I have had to learn all the basics and complexities of this tool without anyone else training me. All I have learnt is by my own effort. It offers reliable features, which allow me to design professional designs for my clients. There is this one time I designed for a performance group, a poster and they printed those posters for the first time in 7 years. Apart from that, I have designed labels and menus for DVD suing this program. I like the fact that you can group layers the way you want in terms of the layout which helps to improve the visibility of your projects.</p> <p><strong>CONS:</strong> There is little to dislike about this tool. It offers a reliable platform on which you can design the layout of our photos the way you want. For the few issues I can mention, it does not let you see the effects on a photo. This means that you will not be able to edit those effects or improve them or copy them and transfer them to another photo. It would be better if those effects on photos could be seen for efficiency when designing photos and for future projects. It also has a history brush which you can use for current and future projects. First, I can touchup photos easily because of the numerous tools they provide me. I was also impressed by the number of theme settings and third party brushes available to me. This program really made it easy for me to come up with artwork that is creative, especially since the folders and layers are easy to undertand and organize.</p> <p><strong>CONS:</strong> I think it could be better at handling a 3D design workload. This is what I've come to depend on when it comes to manipulating and editing photos. I like how I can turn to this program no matter how big or small the project I'm working on is. Whether it's photo manipulation on a huge scale or just correcting a small detail, this program delivers.</p> <p><strong>CONS:</strong> I wish that this program worked much more smoothly with other programs in the Adobe suite. The tool placements and keyboard shortcuts are different from other programs in the suite, so I sometimes get confused when I switch programs. I appreciate how intuitive its functions are and how many there are of them. It's also impressive how regularly the updates come and how effective they are at keeping the software free of bugs.</p> <p><strong>CONS:</strong> They could really improve the tablet-based version of this software because I found it really lacking, especially for my work needs. Using this on a laptop or a desktop computer is the best way for me, but improving the mobile version would definitely be appreciated. Without it, I would not be able to complete any project successfully. It has become an important aspect in my line of work. It helps to convert my imagination into reality through quality and perfect photo editing and design. There are also various upgrades of this product which adds more features to it. The more the new features pop up the faster and more efficient this tool becomes in my line of work. New features such as Export command makes everything run smoothly which allows me to be more productive in less the time.</p> <p><strong>CONS:</strong> I find this product to be the best in market. With over 2 decades of using it for my work, I can say there are more benefits that the negatives I can talk about. However, every tool will have its defects and for the case of Photoshop, they are negligible on my part. For example, there is the default script, which tends to be slow and less customizable. This also goes for the batching functionalities the product has. It would be better if improvements in terms of speed and customization were included in those features. It is intuitive which makes its simple on my part. I have had to learn all the basics and complexities of this tool without anyone else training me. All I have learnt is by my own effort. There is this one time I designed for a performance group, a poster and they printed those posters for the first time in 7 years. Apart from that, I have designed labels and menus for DVD suing this program. I like the fact that you can group layers the way you want in terms of the layout which helps to improve the visibility of your projects.</p> <p><strong>CONS:</strong> There is little to dislike about this tool. It offers a reliable platform on which you can design the layout of our photos the way you want. For the few issues I can mention, it does not let you see the effects on a photo. This means that you will not be able to edit those effects or improve them or copy them and transfer them to another photo. It would be better if those effects on photos could be seen for efficiency when designing photos and for future projects. It also has a history brush which you can use for current and future projects. It really has everything that you need from a photo editing software, so it's no wonder that there are a lot of imitations out there that still don't deliver. This program is definitely the top of its class for a reason.</p> <p><strong>CONS:</strong> I do have a number of issues with this software, first of which is that the subscription model really feels like a cash grab. Monthly payments are really hard on the budget, and I think we should be given the option to just buy the software after paying for it for a set amount of time. I've also encountered some hassle with the current version of the software. With this program, I can change a background into whatever I want, remove a blurred area, adjust levels and brightness, take photos and make high resolution copies of them, and even change skin tones. What's even more impressive is that all it takes to do this is for me to click on the simple toolbar. Another thing that impressed me about this is the menu for plugins and the multiple options and functions I get when I use either third party plugins or those that come from Adobe itself. The pen tool can also select and cut with great precision and I definitely appreciated that. I also liked the many tools that come with this program, such as custom shapes, type tool, burn tool, path selection tool, and the magic tool. The ability to export to different formats like PSD, PNG, and JPG was also something that I liked.</p> <p><strong>CONS:</strong> Generally, I think this is a good program. However, I do wish that there was a way to take SVG files and manipulate them. Graphic design is not my passion, but with this program I've been able to learn a lot of things that I can now do on this program. The tools it provides you can do so many things, whether it is to enhance the photo or fix it with things like pathc, blur, and dodge, to name a few. I also like how you can add filters to images.</p> <p><strong>CONS:</strong> There have been times when my computer has either slowed down or outright crashed when I handled large files or opened other programs aside from this one. But I think that is a problem with your computer and not necessarily with the software itself. I am sure that beginners will appreciate how user-friendly the tools are and how they even appear in other programs in the Adobe suite as well. Another thing that I like is how the newest version allows me to create artboards. With it, I can utilize multiple canvases when creating a design and even export these designs at the same time.</p> <p><strong>CONS:</strong> I do wish that this program could handle vector formats, because a lot of companies want output delivered in that format and I can't do that on this software. I also would like it if there was a way to compress large scale projects on this program, because they usually end up becoming files with large sizes that I find very limiting to work with. However, it may require some improvements on some of its features. For the example, the import command feature is not that intuitive. It helps you to put your imagination in that photo you are editing. Once you upload the photo or image into the product, you can edit it in a way that you feel like. For example, when you have a portrait or photo of a person, you can upload it into the program and get rid of the acne on their face. On top of that, you can make the teeth more white which will impress the client once you are done. It makes things easier and better where at the end of the day, you clients will be satisfied with the work you have done which is good for business.</p> <p><strong>CONS:</strong> There are multiple adobe products in the market and if you have had experience with any one of them, then this tool will seem familiar. Up to now, I can think of any other tool that matches what this program offers on my part. It is an absolute genius tool that helps you do most of the things that you could imagine doing. All you need is to paint a picture in your head and then use this product to edit and manipulate that photo into reality. What comes out of that is a work of art. It has numerous tools to take advantage of which includes the brushes, filters, action menu, and clone tools among others. You can also export pictures to your website or where you want them to go.</p> <p><strong>CONS:</strong> A lot of changes have taken place with the recent upgrade to CC. Although it comes with new features, some of them I did not like. For example, the interface is all black for the new version and that does not sit well with me. I do not like that color at all. The memory management is also not that up to my standards. Since I use an older laptop the memory is not that big which brings about problems when using this product.
