His work with the National Theatre also includes <i>Anthony and Cleopatra</i> and Arthur Miller's <i>The American Clock</i>. In addition, he co-starred as Roy Cohn in the European premiere engagement of Tony Cushman's <i>Angels in America</i>.<p> Television audiences most recently saw Schofield in the miniseries <i>Cleopatra</i> and <i>Mary, Mother of Jesus</i>.
