membership</h3> <ul><li><strong>Individuals</strong> may apply for membership at 拢56 per annum.</li> <li><strong>Companies</strong> may apply for corporate membership at 拢225聽per annum.</li> </ul><p>The eligibility criteria for individual and corporate membership are that the applicant must be a person or company who working in or associated with the publication of peer-reviewed scholarly journals or has a significant interest in safeguarding the integrity聽of the academic record and who is NOT eligible for journal or publisher membership.</p> <h3><a id="waivers" name="waivers"></a>Reduced membership subscription fees</h3> <p>Not-for-profit organisations, registered charities, journals from developing countries and cases of financial hardship may apply to COPE Council for <a href="https://web.archive.org/web/20211206182114/https://publicationethics.org/reduced-membership-fee">reduced membership subscription fees</a>.</p> <h2>Notes</h2> <p>Prices in UK Sterling, no VAT is charged for membership.</p> <p>All payments聽must be made by electronic transfer.</p> <p>The COPE聽Trustee Board have agreed not to increase membership subscription fees during 2021
