Not one stone<MG3037> will be left<MG863> upon another<MG3037>, which<MG3739> will not be torn<MG2647> down<MG2647>.” <p class="paragraph"><span class="reftext"><a href="/mark/13-3.htm"><b>3</b></a></span>As He was sitting<MG2521> on the Mount<MG3735> of Olives<MG1636> opposite<MG2713> the temple<MG2413>, Peter<MG4074>, <span class="fn"><a href="#fn">[c]</a></span>James<MG2385>, John<MG2491>, and Andrew<MG406> were questioning<MG1905> Him privately<MG2596, 2398>, <span class="reftext"><a href="/mark/13-4.htm"><b>4</b></a></span>“Tell<MG3004> us, when<MG4219> will these<MG3778> things<MG3778> come<MG1510> about<MG1510>, and what<MG5101> <i>will be</i> the <span class="fn"><a href="#fn">[d]</a></span>sign<MG4592> when<MG3752> all<MG3956> these<MG3778> things<MG3778> are<MG3195> going<MG3195> to<MG3195> be fulfilled<MG4931>?” <span class="reftext"><a href="/mark/13-5.htm"><b>5</b></a></span>And Jesus<MG2424> began<MG757> to say<MG3004> to them, “See<MG991> to it that no<MG3361> one<MG5100> misleads<MG4105> you. <span class="reftext"><a href="/mark/13-6.htm"><b>6</b></a></span>Many<MG4183> will come<MG2064> in My name<MG3686>, saying<MG3004>, ‘I am<MG1510> <i>He!’</i> and they will mislead<MG4105> many<MG4183>. <span class="reftext"><a href="/mark/13-7.htm"><b>7</b></a></span>When<MG3752> you hear<MG191> of wars<MG4171> and rumors<MG189> of wars<MG4171>, do not be alarmed<MG2360>; <i>those things</i> must<MG1163> take<MG1096> place<MG1096>; but <i>that is</i> not yet<MG3768> the end<MG5056>. <span class="reftext"><a href="/mark/13-8.htm"><b>8</b></a></span>For nation<MG1484> will rise<MG1453> up<MG1453> against<MG1909> nation<MG1484>, and kingdom<MG932> against<MG1909> kingdom<MG932>; there will be earthquakes<MG4578> in various<MG2596> places<MG5117>; there will <i>also</i> be famines<MG3042>. These<MG3778> things<MG3778> are <i>only</i> the beginning<MG746> of birth<MG5604> pains<MG5604>. <p class="paragraph"><span class="reftext"><a href="/mark/13-9.htm"><b>9</b></a></span>“But <span class="fn"><a href="#fn">[e]</a></span>be on your guard<MG991>; for they will hand<MG3860> you over<MG3860> to <i>the</i> <span class="fn"><a href="#fn">[f]</a></span>courts<MG4892>, and you will be flogged<MG1194> in <i>the</i> synagogues<MG4864>, and you will stand<MG2476> before<MG1909> governors<MG2232> and kings<MG935> for My sake<MG1752a>, as a testimony<MG3142> to them. <span class="reftext"><a href="/mark/13-10.htm"><b>10</b></a></span>And the gospel<MG2098> must<MG1163> first<MG4413> be preached<MG2784> to all<MG3956> the nations<MG1484>. <span class="reftext"><a href="/mark/13-11.htm"><b>11</b></a></span>And when<MG3752> they <span class="fn"><a href="#fn">[g]</a></span>arrest<MG71> you and hand<MG3860> you over<MG3860>, do not worry<MG4305> beforehand<MG4305> about<MG4305> what<MG5101> you are to say<MG2980>, but say<MG2980> whatever<MG3739, 1437> is given<MG1325> you at that time<MG5610>; for you are not the ones speaking<MG2980>, but <i>it is</i> the Holy<MG40> Spirit<MG4151>. <span class="reftext"><a href="/mark/13-12.htm"><b>12</b></a></span>And brother<MG80> will betray<MG3860> brother<MG80> to death<MG2288>, and a father<MG3962> <i>his</i> child<MG5043>; and children<MG5043> will rise<MG1881> up<MG1881> against<MG1909> parents<MG1118> and <span class="fn"><a href="#fn">[h]</a></span>have them put<MG2289> to<MG2289> death<MG2289>. <span class="reftext"><a href="/mark/13-13.htm"><b>13</b></a></span>And you will be hated<MG3404> by everyone<MG3956> because<MG1223> of My name<MG3686>, but it is the one who has endured<MG5278> to the end<MG5056> who<MG3778> will be saved<MG4982>. <p class="paragraph"><span class="reftext"><a href="/mark/13-14.htm"><b>14</b></a></span>“Now<MG1161> when<MG3752> you see<MG3708> the ABOMINATION<MG946> OF DESOLATION<MG2050> standing<MG2476> where<MG3699> it should<MG1163> not be—<span class="fn"><a href="#fn">[i]</a></span>let the <span class="fn"><a href="#fn">[j]</a></span>reader<MG314> understand<MG3539>—then<MG5119> those<MG3588> who<MG3588> are in Judea<MG2449> must flee<MG5343> to the mountains<MG3735>. <span class="reftext"><a href="/mark/13-15.htm"><b>15</b></a></span><span class="fn"><a href="#fn">[k]</a></span>Whoever<MG3588> is on the <span class="fn"><a href="#fn">[l]</a></span>housetop<MG1430> must not go<MG2597> down<MG2597>, nor<MG3366> go<MG1525> in<MG1525> to get<MG142> anything<MG5100> out of his house<MG3614>. <span class="reftext"><a href="/mark/13-16.htm"><b>16</b></a></span>And <span class="fn"><a href="#fn">[m]</a></span>whoever<MG3588> is in the field<MG68> must not turn<MG1994> back<MG3694, 1994> to get<MG142> his cloak<MG2440>. <span class="reftext"><a href="/mark/13-17.htm"><b>17</b></a></span>But woe<MG3759> to those<MG3588> women<MG3588> who are pregnant<MG1064>, and to those<MG3588> who are nursing<MG2337> babies<MG2337> in those<MG3588> days<MG2250>! <span class="reftext"><a href="/mark/13-18.htm"><b>18</b></a></span>Moreover<MG1161>, pray<MG4336> that it will not happen<MG1096> in winter<MG5494>. <span class="reftext"><a href="/mark/13-19.htm"><b>19</b></a></span>For those<MG1565> days<MG2250> will be such<MG3634> a <i>time of</i> tribulation<MG2347> as has not occurred<MG1096> since<MG575> the beginning<MG746> of the creation<MG2937> which<MG3739> God<MG2316> created<MG2936> until<MG2193> now<MG3568>, and never<MG3756, 3361> will <i>again.</i> <span class="reftext"><a href="/mark/13-20.htm"><b>20</b></a></span>And if<MG1487> the Lord<MG2962> had not shortened<MG2856> <i>those</i> days<MG2250>, no<MG3756, 3956> <span class="fn"><a href="#fn">[n]</a></span>life<MG4561> would have been saved<MG4982>; but for the sake<MG1223> of the <span class="fn"><a href="#fn">[o]</a></span>elect<MG1588>, whom<MG3739> He chose<MG1586>, He shortened<MG2856> the days<MG2250>. <span class="reftext"><a href="/mark/13-21.htm"><b>21</b></a></span>And then<MG5119> if<MG1437> anyone<MG5100> says<MG3004> to you, ‘Look<MG2396>, here<MG5602> is the <span class="fn"><a href="#fn">[p]</a></span>Christ<MG5547>’; <i>or,</i> ‘Look<MG2396>, there<MG1563> <i>He is</i>’; do not believe<MG4100> <i>it;</i> <span class="reftext"><a href="/mark/13-22.htm"><b>22</b></a></span>for false<MG5580> christs<MG5580> and false<MG5578> prophets<MG5578> will arise<MG1453>, and will provide<MG4160> signs<MG4592> and wonders<MG5059>, in<MG4314> order<MG4314> to<MG4314> mislead<MG635>, if<MG1487> possible<MG1415>, the elect<MG1588>. <span class="reftext"><a href="/mark/13-23.htm"><b>23</b></a></span>But beware<MG991>; I have told<MG4275b> you everything<MG3956> in<MG4275b> advance<MG4275b>. <p class="hdg">The Return of Christ</p><p class="paragraph"><span class="reftext"><a href="/mark/13-24.htm"><b>24</b></a></span>“But in those<MG1565> days<MG2250>, after<MG3326> that tribulation<MG2347>, THE SUN<MG2246> WILL BE DARKENED<MG4654> AND THE MOON<MG4582> WILL NOT GIVE<MG1325> ITS LIGHT<MG5338>, <span class="reftext"><a href="/mark/13-25.htm"><b>25</b></a></span>AND THE STARS<MG792> WILL BE FALLING<MG4098> from heaven<MG3772>, and the powers<MG1411> that are in the heavens<MG3772> will be shaken<MG4531>. <span class="reftext"><a href="/mark/13-26.htm"><b>26</b></a></span>And then<MG5119> they will see<MG3708> THE SON<MG5207> OF MAN<MG444> COMING<MG2064> IN CLOUDS<MG3507> with great<MG4183> power<MG1411> and glory<MG1391>. <span class="reftext"><a href="/mark/13-27.htm"><b>27</b></a></span>And then<MG5119> He will send<MG649> forth<MG649> the angels<MG32a>, and will gather<MG1996> together<MG1996> His <span class="fn"><a href="#fn">[q]</a></span>elect<MG1588> from the four<MG5064> winds<MG417>, from the end<MG206> of the earth<MG1093> to the end<MG206> of heaven<MG3772>. <p class="paragraph"><span class="reftext"><a href="/mark/13-28.htm"><b>28</b></a></span>“Now<MG1161> learn<MG3129> the parable<MG3850b> from the fig<MG4808> tree<MG4808>: as soon<MG3752, 2235> as its branch<MG2798> has become<MG1096> tender<MG527> and sprouts<MG1631> its leaves<MG5444>, you know<MG1097> that summer<MG2330> is near<MG1451>. <span class="reftext"><a href="/mark/13-29.htm"><b>29</b></a></span>So<MG3779> you too<MG2532>, when<MG3752> you see<MG3708> these<MG3778> things<MG3778> happening<MG1096>, <span class="fn"><a href="#fn">[r]</a></span>recognize<MG1097> that <span class="fn"><a href="#fn">[s]</a></span>He is near<MG1451>, <i>right</i> at the <span class="fn"><a href="#fn">[t]</a></span>door<MG2374>. <span class="reftext"><a href="/mark/13-30.htm"><b>30</b></a></span>Truly<MG281> I say<MG3004> to you, this<MG3778> generation<MG1074> will not pass<MG3928> away<MG3928> until<MG3360> all<MG3956> these<MG3778> things<MG3778> take<MG1096> place<MG1096>. <span class="reftext"><a href="/mark/13-31.htm"><b>31</b></a></span>Heaven<MG3772> and earth<MG1093> will pass<MG3928> away<MG3928>, but My words<MG3056> will not pass<MG3928> away<MG3928>. <span class="reftext"><a href="/mark/13-32.htm"><b>32</b></a></span>But about<MG4012> that day<MG2250> or<MG2228> hour<MG5610> no<MG3762> one<MG3762> knows<MG3609a>, not even<MG3761> the angels<MG32a> in heaven<MG3772>, nor<MG3761> the Son<MG5207>, but the Father<MG3962> <i>alone.</i> <p class="paragraph"><span class="reftext"><a href="/mark/13-33.htm"><b>33</b></a></span>“Watch<MG991> out<MG991>, stay<MG69> alert<MG69>;
