Available methods and systems to deal with harassment are also considered to be ineffective. These behaviors are clearly harmful, and in addition, many individuals who experience or witness harassment participate less in Wikimedia projects or stop contributing entirely. </p><p>Proposals in any language are welcome during the campaign - research projects, technical solutions, community organizing and outreach initiatives, or something completely new! <a href="https://meta.wikimedia.org/wiki/Grants:Start" class="extiw" title="m:Grants:Start">Funding is available from the Wikimedia Foundation</a> for projects that need financial support. Unfortunately I am not permitted to edit any part of the en-Wikipedia, so I am posting here instead. </p><p>Yes, it is unfortunate that there are now some Users who are equal more than others, but the practice of treating some Users as worth less than others has a long and proud history on en-wikipedia. When I tried to tackle this issue on a wikiproject talkpage back in 2013 (See: <a class="external free" href="https://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?diff=531805067">https://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?diff=531805067</a>), my posting was reverted (twice) with an edit summary " removing unrelated crap". A "popular" Admin showed up on my talkpage to warn me against trying to re-instate my post. </p><p>I did manage to hang in for almost ten years, and most of my 75,000 edit donations have been accepted, in spite of being called a spammer, a troll, a vandal, and other uncomplimentary names. I was ignored by most other Users, and the few that came to my defense, ended up being in trouble themsleves. I hope you will take your time, before removing this comment.
