From 1992-1994, he worked as an Information Officer at the UK Government鈥檚 Overseas Development Administration.</span></span></p> <p class="BasicParagraph"><span class="SpeakerBiobody"><span lang="EN-US">In 1994, Ian joined Llewellyn Bankes-Hughes as Features Editor of <em>BunkerNews</em>, then the world鈥檚 leading marine fuels magazine, at MRC Business Information Group in Oxford. Ian left in 1998 to work as a consultant at international PR company Countrywide Porter-Novelli in Banbury, before returning to <em>BunkerNews</em>.</span></span></p> <p class="BasicParagraph"><span class="SpeakerBiobody"><span lang="EN-US">By 1999, <em>BunkerNews</em> and MRC had been acquired by the Informa Group plc. Ian became Publishing Manager, specifically of <em>BunkerNews, Lloyd鈥檚 List Energy Day</em>and a range of sister publications.
