difficult to collect, in particular regarding countries such as Cape Verde, Brunei or Kyrgyzstan, which led to the delay of publishing details. Information is still not complete and any complement is welcome. </p> <p>On <strong>September 12, 2024</strong>, <strong>Portugal </strong>and <strong>Cape Verde</strong> celebrated the centenary of the African (Guinea Bissau and Cape Verde) anticolonial activist and writer Amílcar Lopes Cabral (born on September 12, 1924, assassinated on January 20, 1973). The stamps show two portraits of the politician. Portugal issued 70,000 stamps from each type in panes of 50. Except the recent confirmation of the same design, details about the Cape Verde stamps are missing. There is also no information available about any issue at the same date of a commemorative stamp from Guinea Bissau.</p> <div discovered by Don Birschel (USA). The identical stamps show plants, on one side <em>Ficus elastica</em> and on the other, <em>Dendrobium Hassanal Saleha</em>. The orchid is named after the Brunei Sultan and Queen during the Sultan’s State Visit to Singapore in 2022 and the <em>Ficus </em>was planted by Singapore President Tharman on his State Visit to Brunei Darussalam in 2024. While Brunei stamps details are still missing, Singapore products include stamps produced as miniature sheets of 10 units as well as a souvenir sheet including these same stamps. below.</p> <p>May 9, 2024: This is the official date of this year’s PostEurop issue. The topic is related to ‘Underwater fauna and flora’. A large number of countries issued their stamp(s) on the anniversary date of May 9, but as the design and dates of issue are remaining within the hands of each postal administration, similarly to previous years, the 2024 issue is not considered as joint, on the contrary to last year. This series is just reported in the catalogue for information for collectors of Europa / Europa CEPT / PostEurop stamps. So far, 57 countries have already released their stamp(s) or have announced their participation. Information is missing only for Albania, Armenia, Kazakhstan and Ukraine [<strong>N20240509</strong>].</p> <p><strong>May 21, 2024</strong>: <strong>Morocco </strong>and <strong>Romania</strong> celebrate cultural relations between both countries through a pair of identical stamps related to folk art. This is a twin issue [<strong>T1</strong>] representing traditional costumes and ceramic or porcelain objects from the regions of Vâlcea and Horezu (Romania), or from Fez (Morocco) Due to the direct link between these three postal administrations, this joint issue is considered as a Territorial twin issue [<strong>TD</strong>] and will be referenced as [<strong>D20240526</strong>]. The identical souvenir sheets with one stamp showing the portrait of King Frederic X were issued at the date of the anniversary of the King (born on May 26, 1968). class="entry-content"> <p><strong>Poland </strong>and <strong>Slovenia </strong>issued on <strong>March 6, 2023</strong> identical stamps honoring Emil Korytko (1813-1839), a Polish ethnographer, exiled in Slovenia where he contributed to the translation of Slovene folk songs. Poland stamps became available in miniature sheets of 8 stamps [4×2] while Slovenia produced miniature sheets of 16 stamps [4×4]. In the meantime several friends from the Netherlands, Poland, UK and Italy provided information about the issue of the true joint issue related to the 550th anniversary of the birth of the astronomer Nicolaus Copernicus (Mikolaj Kopernik; 1473-1543). In the meantime, the stamp release was delayed two times and still not issued by end of June 2022. Recent information referred to the bankruptcy of the Ecuadorian Post which has not issued stamps for more than two years. As a consequence, we considered this issue as cancelled.</p> <p>All of a sudden, we learned from Stan80djk that both stamps were officially released on <strong>July 28, 2022</strong>. Stamps are identical and honor two heroines of independency, Leona Vicario (1789-1842) and Manuela Saenz (1797-1856). <strong>Ecuador </strong>issued only 2,000 units, while <strong>Mexico</strong> Territory</strong>, the <strong>Falkland Islands</strong> and the <strong>South Georgia and South Sandwich Islands</strong> have issued a series of stamps in honor of Sir Ernest Henry Shackleton at the occasion of the 100th anniversary of his death. Shackleton is well known for several Antarctica expeditions including an heroic behavior to save his team stuck in the ice. He died on January 5, 1922 at age 47 from a heart attack while starting a new Antarctic expedition and he is buried on the South Georgia Island. The twelve pictures used for these stamps are based on black and white or colorized photographs of Shackleton taken at different ages, with team, with ship or map, including also some pictures of his grave. recently that these three countries associated to <strong>Ascension</strong>, <strong>Bahamas</strong> and <strong>Tristan da Cunha</strong> will issue four stamps each and a souvenir sheet to celebrate the 70th anniversary of the reign of Queen Elisabeth II. Exact dates of issue are not known yet, but Bahamas seems to be the first and plans to issue stamps on <strong>March 17, 2022</strong>. <p>Tomas Garrigue Masaryk (1850-1937), familiarly called TGM, co-founded Czechoslovakia at the end of WWIO, in 1918, together with Milan Rastislav Štefánik (1880-1919) and Edvard Beneš (1884-1948). He served as its first president from 1918 to 1935. He is the first head of state to visit the Mandate for Palestine in 1923 and 1927. Czech Republic and Israel issued identical stamps on November 30, 2021. The stamps represent the portrait of the politician and an artistic mosaic of the Kfar Masaryk kibbutz in Northern Israel (founded by Jewish immigrants from Czechoslovakia and Lithuania). The tabs show the flags of both countries.
