id="Main"><div id="Body"><div id="content"><p>La Oficina de Normas Obrero-Patronal (Office of Labor-Management Standards, u OLMS, por sus siglas en inglés) pertenece al Departamento del Trabajo de los Estados Unidos y es responsable por administrar y aplicar la mayoría de las disposiciones de la Ley de Notificación y Divulgación Obrero-Patronal (Labor-Management Reporting and Disclosure Act, o LMRDA, por sus siglas en inglés). Dicha Ley fue adoptada con el fin de garantizar normas básicas de democracia y responsabilidad fiscal en las organizaciones laborales del sector privado. Los sindicatos que representan a los empleados del Correo Postal de los Estados Unidos también se hallan sujetos a la Ley LMRDA. Los sindicatos de empleados federales se hallan sujetos a normas similares conforme a la Ley de Reforma del Servicio Civil de 1978 y a la Ley del Servicio Exterior de 1980.</p><p>OLMS anima a que los oficiales y los miembros del sindicato, así como otros individuos afectados por la ley LMRDA, se pongan en contacto con la agencia para discutir de problemas, presenten quejas u obtengan información sobre la ley LMRDA. Además, OLMS fomenta la conformidad voluntaria con la Ley LMRDA al informar a oficiales del sindicato y a otros individuos de sus responsabilidades y al animar a los miembros del sindicato a que ejerzan sus derechos.</p><p><strong>Informes y divulgaciones</strong></p><p><strong>Reporte de información de la organización del sindicato, Formulario LM-1</strong> <br>Cuando se establecen sindicatos, inclusive sindicatos locales, los reglamentos de la Ley LMRDA y CSRA requieren que estos sindicatos adopten una constitución y estatutos y que presenten dos copias ante OLMS, junto con un Reporte de Información de la organización del sindicato, Formulario LM-1, que brinde cierta información sobre la estructura, las prácticas y los procedimientos del sindicato. Las organizaciones sindicales con ingresos anuales totales de menos de $10.000 deben presentar el formulario LM-4. Las organizaciones sindicales con ingresos anuales de más de $10.000 pero de menos de $250.000 deben presentar el formulario LM-3.
