Masterpieces by Mary Cassatt, Winslow Homer, Horace Pippin, Edward Hopper, and Charles M. Russell are among the nearly 7,000 works in the permanent collection. Wichita Art Museum, Inc. is the non-profit entity contracted by the City of Wichita to direct the day-to-day operations as well as the artistic direction of the Museum. A majority of the Museum's staff are city employees.
