experiences of learners. In this regard, the research focuses on the factors and conditions that influence the development of their identities – to pinpoint the various aspects that can either encourage or hinder such development (e.g. the prestige of an occupation; working and training conditions; work activities; and social relations at the workplace).</span></span></span></span></span></span></span></span></p><p><span><span><span><span><span lang="EN-GB"><span><span><span>A further objective is to explore the diversity of learners and study the associated inequalities that can arise during training (related to, e.g., migration, gender and disability). The research focuses on how diversity is handled within the different learning locations and what conditions favour recognition and
