peer-reviewed publication of the Philippine Nurses Association of America, is calling for authors to submit manuscripts.<strong><br> <br></strong><p>Indexed by EBSCOhost, including the Cumulative Index to Nursing and Allied Health Literature (CINAHL), JNPARR publishes scholarly works around Nursing Practice, Education, Administration and Research. Types of manuscripts published include: Original Research Reports, Review Articles, Quality Improvement Manuscripts, Discussion Paper, and Case Reports.</p>Submission Dates: <strong>Ongoing</strong><br> Publication Schedule: <strong>Two times a year<br></strong><br> JNPARR welcome the following types of manuscripts:<strong><br> <br> Original Research Reports</strong> include studies of all designs including quantitative, qualitative and mixed methods studies. All research reports must contain a statement in the methods section about the protection of human subjects and approval by the appropriate institutional review board (IRB). In addition, submission of documented IRB approval is required. Suggested headings within the text include: Introduction, Objective(s), Methods, Results, Discussion, and Conclusions.<strong><br> <br> Review Articles</strong> provide a comprehensive review and critical synthesis of the literature on a specific topic. Types of review manuscripts considered include systematic reviews either with or without meta-analysis, integrative reviews, narrative reviews and reviews and syntheses of qualitative research (e.g., meta-synthesis). All reviews should be guided by a clear statement of purpose or research question. Suggested headings within the text include: Introduction, Objective(s), Methods, Results, Discussion, and Conclusions.<strong><br> <br> Quality Improvement</strong> papers are reports of systematic, data-based interventions designed to achieve improvements in the quality, safety, and value of healthcare related to nursing practice, education, and administration. Suggested headings within the text include: Introduction, Objective(s), Methods, Results, Discussion, and Conclusions.<strong><br> <br> Discussion Papers</strong> addressing conceptual, philosophical, theoretical, methodological or professional phenomena of interest when it is clear that the content represents an extension of knowledge and that the phenomena are relevant to nursing. These papers may include analyses of innovations and trends in clinical practice, care delivery systems, and education programs. Suggested headings within the text include: Introduction, Objective(s), Methods, Results, Discussion, and Conclusions.<strong><br> <br> Case Reports</strong> are methodological and systematic approaches of disseminating personal knowledge about a clinical phenomenon or condition affecting individuals, groups, or populations. Case reports can discuss phenomena and clinical applications in different areas of interest in clinical nursing, disease conditions, healthcare disparities, determinants of health, and population health. Case reports highlight clinical experiences that promote generation of hypotheses for future research or development of practice guidelines as appropriate.
