violent<MG972> rushing<MG5342> wind<MG4157> came<MG1096> from heaven<MG3772>, and it filled<MG4137> the whole<MG3650> house<MG3624> where<MG3757> they were sitting<MG2521>. <a href="/acts/2-10.htm">10</a>Phrygia<MG5435> and Pamphylia<MG3828>, Egypt<MG125> and the parts<MG3313> of Libya<MG3033> around<MG2596> Cyrene<MG2957>, and <a href="#fn">[j]</a>visitors<MG1927> from Rome<MG4514>, both<MG5037> Jews<MG2453> and <a href="#fn">[k]</a>proselytes<MG4339>, <a href="/acts/2-11.htm">11</a>Cretans<MG2912> and Arabs<MG690b>—we hear<MG191> them speaking<MG2980> in our own <a href="#fn">[l]</a>tongues<MG1100> of the mighty<MG3167> deeds<MG3167> of God<MG2316>.” <a href="/acts/2-12.htm">12</a>And they all<MG3956> continued in amazement<MG1839> and great<MG1280> perplexity<MG1280>, saying<MG3004> to one<MG243> another<MG243>, “What<MG5101> does this<MG3778> mean<MG2309, 1510>?” <a href="/acts/2-13.htm">13</a>But others<MG2087> were jeering<MG1315b> and saying<MG3004>, “They are full<MG3325> of <a href="#fn">[m]</a>sweet<MG1098> wine<MG1098>!” Peter’s Sermon<a href="/acts/2-14.htm">14</a>But Peter<MG4074>, taking<MG2476> his stand<MG2476> with the other eleven<MG1733>, raised<MG1869> his voice<MG5456> and declared<MG669> to them: “Men<MG435> of Judea<MG2449> and all<MG3956> you who live<MG2730> in Jerusalem<MG2419>, <a
