These are available in open access and comprise metadata from the main NLP information systems such as the NLP Catalogue, the National Bibliographic Database – PORBASE, the Portuguese National Bibliography (since 1931) and the National Digital Library.</p> <p style="text-align: justify;"> </p> <p style="text-align: justify;">Data can be obtained in different metadata schema (e.g., UNIMARC, Dublin Core, Mods) and encoding formats (ISO 2709, MARCXchange, RDF, RDF Turtle), through <a href="http://opendata.bnportugal.pt/eng_services.htm">search and retrieve services</a> (URN http service, for unique identifiers, and Z39.50) or as dataset downloads by <a href="http://opendata.bnportugal.pt/eng_oai-pmh.htm">OAI-PMH</a>.</p> <p> </p> <p style="text-align: justify;">Some of these services to access data from the NLP bibliographic systems have been available freely since 2003.
