arthroplasty revealed it significantly reduces postoperative blood loss and transfusion requirements. “This meta-analysis showed a statistically significant reduction of postoperative blood loss and transfusion requirements with topical use of [tranexamic acid] in total knee arthroplasties, without any additional thromboembolic risk,” Peter V.
