les politiques publiques de la ville » entend s’insérer dans l’axe « humanités numériques » de la MESHS pour contribuer au développement d’une réflexion pluridisciplinaire dans la région Nord-Pas-de-Calais sur l’impact de nouvelles données numériques dans les contextes des études de la ville. Le but de ce cycle est prendre de la distance des expériences empiriques liées aux méthodes numériques pour mener une réflexion sur la signification des traces numériques dans le contexte des études urbaines. Autant de notions qui se concrétisent dans des dispositifs de soin, de décision, de prospective, de planification. Autant de notions qui engagent notre rapport à soi, à l'autre, à la société. Entre « espérance collective » et « désenchantement éthique », l’anticipation semble peiner à trouver sa place. Admired and sought after in the 19th century, when the main European collections were built up, these objects, whose origins date back to the end of the fifteenth century, were subsequently forgotten. The cross-disciplinary conference will shed light on technical and manufacturing aspects, and the forms and decorations of these artistic masterworks, which can be found in major museums and collections throughout the world, and point to the socio-cultural context of which they are a product. Par définition située à la périphérie des villes, elles occupent une place particulière dans les espaces périurbains. Elles sont l’objet d’un constat souvent négatif, pessimiste et emblématique de la mise en échec de l’urbanisme français comme le dénonce David Mangin dans <em>La ville franchisée</em> (2004), ou comme le vulgarise <em>Télérama</em> en 2010 dans un numéro spécial sur les entrées de ville intitulé : <em>Halte à la France du moche ! </em>Pourtant, ces espaces ont capté l’attention à la fois des pouvoirs publics et des chercheurs depuis la décennie 1990. Que retenir de ces travaux pour mieux en comprendre les enjeux actuels ?
