The posters will be displayed on both poster boards and e-poster machines which are available for viewing throughout the Congress. The posters will be evaluated by a panel of judges (i.e. the Organizing Committee) based on:</p> <ul> <li>Interest (e.g. Is the content original, important or relevant to the industry?)</li> <li>Scientific quality and novelty (e.g. How and to what extent are the findings likely to influence clinical or research practice, education or even the Government policy?)</li> <li>Quality of visual presentation (e.g. Poster layout)</li> <li>Unique feature to attract the audience</li> </ul> <p><b class="sub-title hkideas-u-v1"><u>Rewards</u></b><br /> Each award winner will receive a certificate and a cash award:</p> <ul> <li>Best Poster: USD1,000</li> <li>1st Runner-up: USD800</li> <li>2nd Runner-up: USD600</li> </ul> <p>The poster awards will be assigned during the congress and delivered to the winners on the occasion of the Gala Dinner.<br /> <br /> Certificate of Participation will be sent to accepted poster presenter through email after the Congress.<br /> <br /> <b class="sub-title hkideas-u-v1"><u>Submission</u></b><br /> Deadline: 14 June 2024<br /> The online submission system will close after the deadline.<br /> <br /> <b class="sub-title hkideas-u-v1"><u>Preparation Guidelines</u></b></p> <ol> <li>Abstracts must be sent exclusively through the website: <a href="https://hkideas.org/" target="_blank">hkideas.org</a>.</li> <li>Abstracts must be written in English. The word limit is a maximum of 300 words per abstract.</li> <li>The content of the abstract should include the following: TITLE, AUTHOR(S), PRESENTER, INTRODUCTION, METHODS, RESULTS AND CONCLUSION. However, it is not necessary to organize the abstract under different headings.</li> <li>The title should be in CAPITALS and in bold at the top of the abstract. Avoid using abbreviations in the title.</li> <li>Type name(s) of author(s) with initials first, e.g. E.Lau. The authors’ names should be followed by the details of the institutions (Department, Institution, Country).</li> <li>The accepted abstracts will be published in the promotional materials of the Congress, including, but not limited to, website and brochures.</li> <li>Submissions do not comply with the requirement will not be considered</li> <li>The author should warrant that all the information and content provided to the Organizer does not infringe any third-party rights, including, but not limited to, intellectual property rights.</li> </ol> <p><b class="sub-title hkideas-u-v1"><u>Confirmation of Receipt and Notification of Decision</u></b><br /> All submissions will be acknowledged on receipt. Please contact the Congress Secretariat by email <a href="mailto:hkideas@oppasys.com">hkideas@oppasys.com</a> if you do not receive the confirmation email.<br /> <br /> Notification regarding the status of your abstract will be sent out by early July 2024. Information for the preparation of the poster will be sent together with this notification.<br /> <br /> The Organizing Committee reserves the right of the final decision on the acceptance of an abstract.<br /> <br /> <b class="sub-title hkideas-u-v1"><u>Registration of Poster Presenters</u></b><br /> Authors whose poster submissions are approved by the Scientific Committee will receive one complimentary Congress registration.
