The partnership will enable GIVIT to continue to allocate 100 per cent of public donations made to their platform directly to communities in need quickly and efficiently. </p> <p>GIVIT works with more than 4,700 support organisations around Australia including councils, charities and community groups to identify exactly what’s needed by people experiencing hardship. GIVIT facilitates up to 75,000 donations per month and since 2020 has helped people affected by more than 25 extreme weather events. </p> <p>As GIVIT’s National Disaster and Emergency Partners, NRMA Insurance and RACV will work together with GIVIT to create safer, stronger and more connected communities in and out of disasters. In addition to supporting GIVIT’s daily operations, the partnership will see the organisations collaborate during disaster response and recovery efforts to help communities impacted by extreme weather. </p> <p>NRMA Insurance CEO Julie Batch said: “We have supported GIVIT since 2011 and are proud to continue this important partnership.
