<div> <p >ING鈥檚 remuneration approach is designed to attract, motivate and retain highly qualified and expert leaders, senior staff and other employees. As such, it is an integral part of the bank鈥檚 strategy, its purpose and its risk profile. <br /><br />ING鈥檚 remuneration principles aim to maintain a sustainable balance between short and long-term value creation and builds on ING鈥檚 long-term responsibility towards customers, society and other stakeholders. <br /><br />Shareholders at the 2024 annual general meeting (AGM) approved new remuneration policies for members of the Executive Board and for the Supervisory Board. These came into effect retrospectively from 1 January 2024.<br /><br />In designing these new policies, the Supervisory Board consulted advisory bodies and a broad range of stakeholders to achieve the
