You must not do any regular work. It is a day for [the trumpets to sound] a fanfare. <span class="reftext"><a href="/numbers/29-2.htm"><b>2</b></a></span>As a burnt offering, a soothing aroma to the LORD, bring one young bull, one ram, and seven one-year-old lambs that have no defects. <span class="reftext"><a href="/numbers/29-3.htm"><b>3</b></a></span>Along with them bring grain offerings of flour mixed with olive oil. Bring 24 cups for each bull, 16 cups for each ram, <span class="reftext"><a href="/numbers/29-4.htm"><b>4</b></a></span>and 8 cups for each of the seven lambs. <span class="reftext"><a href="/numbers/29-5.htm"><b>5</b></a></span>Also bring one male goat as an offering for sin to make peace with the LORD. <span class="reftext"><a href="/numbers/29-6.htm"><b>6</b></a></span>Offer these in addition to the monthly burnt offering with its grain offering, and the daily burnt offerings with their proper grain offerings and wine offerings. They are a soothing aroma, an offering by fire to the LORD.</p> <p class="reg"><span class="reftext"><a href="/numbers/29-7.htm"><b>7</b></a></span>"On the tenth day of the seventh month you must have a holy assembly. You must humble yourselves. You must not do any work. <span class="reftext"><a href="/numbers/29-8.htm"><b>8</b></a></span>As a burnt offering, a soothing aroma, bring one young bull, one ram, and seven one-year-old lambs, all of them without defects. <span class="reftext"><a href="/numbers/29-9.htm"><b>9</b></a></span>Along with them bring grain offerings of flour mixed with olive oil. You must not do any regular work. Instead, celebrate a festival to the LORD for seven days. <span class="reftext"><a href="/numbers/29-13.htm"><b>13</b></a></span>As a burnt offering, an offering by fire, a soothing aroma to the LORD, bring 13 young bulls, 2 rams, and 14 one-year-old lambs, all of them without defects. <span class="reftext"><a href="/numbers/29-14.htm"><b>14</b></a></span>Along with them bring grain offerings of flour mixed with olive oil.
