This tissue is then frozen and stored using a technique called cryopreservation, a <a href="https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC5395684/" rel="noopener" target="_blank"><span style="color: #4a6ee0;">method used to preserve cells and tissues at very low temperatures</span></a>.
