domestic women’s teams returning to being run by single counties across the country.</h5> <p>There will be eight ‘Tier 1’ teams, ten ‘Tier 2’, with ‘Tier 3’ teams comprising of National Counties to be confirmed. Tier 1 will be a fully professional set up with clubs being required to contract a minimum of 15 full-time players to their squads.</p> <p>This means that the South East Stars team, which has been a partnership between Surrey and Kent, will no longer continue in its current form.</p> <p>Surrey have been awarded a Tier 1 side and will compete in the Women’s Vitality Blast and Women’s Metro Bank One Day Competitions next season against the other Tier 1 sides.
