In this work general approaches to the solution of twodimensional&nbsp;filtering problems in ananisotropic, inhomogeneous and&nbsp;multilayered medium are developed, and on the basis of the obtained&nbsp;results mathematical models are&nbsp;constructed&nbsp;(according to Ollendorff&nbsp;method) for studying the certain engineering and technical problem&nbsp;of filtering the almost&nbsp;incompressible liquid chemical compound in&nbsp;the porous inhomogeneous 3D domain. How can one Mealy machine simulate the other one? We create formalism for simulation of Mealy machines. The injective s–morphism of the machine semigroups induces the simulation of machines [1]. We present the example of s–morphism such that it is not a homomorphism of semigroups. The story for the surjective s–morphisms is quite different. These are homomorphisms of semigroups but there exists the surjective s–morphism such that it does not induce the simulation. <p class="card-text"><strong>Keywords:</strong> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/search?q=Mealy%20machine" title="Mealy machine">Mealy machine</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/search?q=simulation" title=" simulation"> simulation</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/search?q=machine%20semigroup" title=" machine semigroup"> machine semigroup</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/search?q=injective%20s%E2%80%93morphism" title=" injective s–morphism"> injective s–morphism</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/search?q=surjective%20s%E2%80%93morphisms." title=" surjective s–morphisms."> surjective s–morphisms.</a> </p> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/2342/machine-morphisms-and-simulation" class="btn btn-primary btn-sm">Procedia</a> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/2342/apa" target="_blank" rel="nofollow" class="btn btn-primary btn-sm">APA</a> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/2342/bibtex" target="_blank" rel="nofollow" class="btn btn-primary btn-sm">BibTeX</a> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/2342/chicago" target="_blank" rel="nofollow" class="btn btn-primary btn-sm">Chicago</a> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/2342/endnote" target="_blank" rel="nofollow" class="btn btn-primary btn-sm">EndNote</a> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/2342/harvard" target="_blank" rel="nofollow" class="btn btn-primary btn-sm">Harvard</a> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/2342/json" target="_blank" rel="nofollow" class="btn btn-primary btn-sm">JSON</a> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/2342/mla" target="_blank" rel="nofollow" class="btn btn-primary btn-sm">MLA</a> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/2342/ris" target="_blank" rel="nofollow" class="btn btn-primary btn-sm">RIS</a> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/2342/xml" target="_blank" rel="nofollow" class="btn btn-primary btn-sm">XML</a> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/2342/iso690" target="_blank" rel="nofollow" class="btn btn-primary btn-sm">ISO 690</a> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/2342.pdf" target="_blank" class="btn btn-primary btn-sm">PDF</a> <span class="bg-info text-light px-1 py-1 float-right rounded"> Downloads <span class="badge badge-light">1511</span> </span> </div> </div> <div class="card publication-listing mb-3 mt-3"> <h5 class="card-header" style="font-size:.9rem"><span class="badge badge-info">2</span> An Extension of Multi-Layer Perceptron Based on Layer-Topology</h5> <div class="card-body"> <p class="card-text"><strong>Authors:</strong> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/search?q=J%C4%81nis%20Zuters">Jānis Zuters</a> </p> <p class="card-text"><strong>Abstract:</strong></p> <p>There are a lot of extensions made to the classic model of multi-layer perceptron (MLP). A notable amount of them has been designed to hasten the learning process without considering the quality of generalization. The paper proposes a new MLP extension based on exploiting topology of the input layer of the network.
