concluded the process of setting up a new framework for certified companies.</p> <p>Mydex CIC will not be a certified company in the next framework for identity providers. However, Mydex CIC will continue to work with the Identity Assurance Programme, and the government more broadly, on the policy and delivery areas within specific areas of its expertise around verified attribute exchange and consent management for data sharing.</p> <p>Mydex CIC has been an important partner for GOV.UK Verify and, although it will no longer be one of the certified identity providers under GOV.UK Verify, that partnership is ongoing and they are already an approved G-Cloud 6 supplier for their live ISO27001 certified services.</p> <p>Chris Ferguson, Director of the Identity Assurance Programme, said: “Mydex CIC has made a fantastic contribution to the development of GOV.UK Verify and we've greatly benefited from their input. We look forward to continuing to work with them through the OIX forum.”</p> <p>Mydex CIC goals for citizens - the community they serve - remain aligned with HMG policy on respecting privacy and offering consent driven identity assurance and data sharing.</p> <p>Mydex CIC will continue to participate in the development of open identity assurance services and trust frameworks alongside GOV.UK Verify and industry leaders from private sector businesses through <a href="http://oixuk.org/">OIX</a>.</p> <p>David Alexander, Mydex CIC founder and CEO, said: “Our understanding of wider sectors (health, local government, social housing third sector and industry) makes us a knowledgeable partner. As an OIX member, we are excited to contribute in practical ways to the range of ongoing projects that play to these strengths.
