We do this to find out things such as the number of visitors to the website, where visitors have come to the website from and the pages they visited. This information is only processed in a way which does not identify individuals. We do not make, and do not allow Matomo to make, any attempt to find out the identities of those visiting our website. Personal information, limited to name, professional organisation and email address may also be shared with the relevant Historic Environment Record responsible for validating the OASIS record.</p> <h3>Scottish Radiocarbon Dating Recording Form (C14)</h3> <p>Personal information provided to the C14 service will be shared with Historic Environment Scotland (HES), the data controller for this service. Please refer to the HES <a href="https://www.historicenvironment.scot/privacy-notice/">Privacy Notice</a> for more information on how HES protects your personal information. Your personal information may also be shared with the third party company who are contracted to process the radiocarbon dates on behalf of HES.</p> <h3>Depositing an archive with the ADS</h3> <p>When an archive is deposited with the ADS using ADS-easy or via another method the contact details of a primary contact is requested. This information is published with permission on our website. The ADS does not share any other personal details about our data depositors with any third parties.</p> <h3>Links to Third Party Sites:</h3> <p>The ADS Services may include links that direct you to other websites or services whose privacy practices may differ from ours. If you submit information to any of those third party sites, your information is governed by their privacy policies, not this one.
