It is recognized that the availability of high-quality actionable information at the point of care and clinical decision support (including analytics, AI/ML) to healthcare professionals has a profound impact on the quality of care and efficiency of healthcare delivery. Consequently, there is substantial focus globally on enhancing Digital Health and informatics – resulting in massive investments and innovation at an unprecedented scale.</p> <p>In India too, technology platforms like Aadhar & UPI have made financial services and banking cheaper and more accessible to all Indians. Similarly, digital tools in healthcare will play a significant role in improving access, quality and cost of healthcare. Government of India recognizes the importance of Digital Health and is rolling out a large digital health initiative nationwide – Ayushman Bharat Digital Mission (ABDM). </p> <p>Creating a digital health ecosystem requires strong focus and collaboration across key stakeholders – government, doctors, hospitals, labs, pharmacies, health insurance companies, educational establishments, and technology companies, etc. </p> <p class="mb-0">Koita Foundation mission is to accelerate digital health adoption in India. NCG is a network of over 270 hospitals treating close to 70% of all cancer patients in India.</p> <p class="px-3">KCDO will support NCG and NCG hospitals in defining their digital health roadmap, sharing best practices and driving key digital initiatives across NCG hospitals. Key focus areas of KCDO include EMR adoption in NCG hospitals, data sharing, patient engagement and driving adoption of new technologies.
